Wind-Whisper Hope this one works and is accceptable. It was amazing what I could do with a Tom Baker doll and a homemade TARDIS. My husband made that TARDIS for me years ago, and it was autographed by Doctors #2, #3, #5 and #6. Really? eek Ohh now I want that TARDIS so much... The Second Doctor is my favourite but I'm too young to have had a chance to meet him. It's a really good TARDIS too. Though... is that a monkey sat beside it?

The Second Doctor is my favourite but I'm too young to have had a chance to meet him. It's a really good TARDIS too. Though... is that a monkey sat beside it? Yeah, it was a little stuffed monkey. I used to have a lot of fun with the Doctor doll. He was very cool. he still is - I have him stored in a safe place for now. I made him several little costumes. But he couldn't go inside the TARDIS, only pose for pictures in front of it. I wish the light would work, but he didn't think of doing that at the time. Eirwyn probably remembers these, doesn't she? I know she's here. (We've known each other for years, and met as DW fans)

Seems like I do remember seeing the TARDIS at your table once...maybe back at MOC3, the one where I wore my parody technicolor nightmare coat? biggrin It even made Colin wince.... rofl

That sounds like one cool coat. Or perhaps cool isn't the word... But I am still jealous of that TARDIS. I'm also jealous of the Doctor Who Fun Page. It's very good! I especially like the cartoons and the Dalek Disco.

Thanks! biggrin The Dalek Disco is a bunch of gifs I found on the Internet. Several are from Sevenoaks Art, by Dave Sutton. You should go look at his Who animations--he's had a new Cyberman for weeks after seeing one full-body photo of one! And I love his new series Dalek! I've been wanting to move the Disco to another host because I'm sure it gobbles up my limited bandwidth at Geocities...I have a redesigned one sitting & waiting to be FTP loaded somewhere; I made it with WebDwarf! That's not only a really cool pagebuilder, it's totally free! You can find it, & the trial for Sitespinner, which allows multi-page projects & a few more features, at Tucows! WYSIWYG Drag & Drop pagebuilders are my favorites! smile

I like the flashing one it has a very hypnotic effect.... I just wanted to put this banner up because I think it is very cool and should be up here: This was made by Timelady42 and is in one of the other picture threads somewhere. As is the explanation of why the first Doctor looks like Yoda...

Yes, I like that a lot! biggrin I know those banners aren't too fancy, really. You do much better ones, Roobarb! I guess I've gotten accustomed to thinking about file size & try to come up with things that will load fast. There are times when that would be good, out on boards away from Gaia, maybe, or on a personal website. That first one I started out making something kinda like the original opening credits image, but I got rather indulgent instead... redface

It's WA-AY better to worry about file size. I'm trying to teach myself too cos I keep ending up making gifs that are the size of small movies and that really isn't the point of a gif...
Anyway, some of my fav banners are simple. Take Timelady's up there, I love that banner and she made it in paint. Complicated does not equal good. It just equals big. sweatdrop
Plus it's good to have a wide variety of shapes, sizes and designs of banners here. Hopefully more people will use them! biggrin

Lol - I nicked the idea off two people: Timelady and her Monty Python crossover thing and my little brother who keeps playing the Camelot dancing bit from The Holy Grail. EDIT: Since I'm changing my signature I thought I'd better put this in so people know what we're talking about... On second thought let's not go to Gallifrey. Tis a silly place.

Yeah, I love your sig too! But..next time, give us a warning? We happened to be in the library when Ace (Velvetnight) stumbled across your sig. The Doctor (KB, Timelady) was sitting next to her..she kinda cracked it..if she'd been at home, I bet anything she may have fallen off her chair..as it was... Just the mention of "On second thoughts, let's not go to Galifrey, 'tis a silly place" almosts sends her into hysterics. Quite a nice weapon actually.. Roobarb Complicated does not equal good. It just equals big. I have to agree with that. And sometimes you'd be more drawn to the random paint squiggles because..well, just because. Or the 'grocery bag' Although I do like the one Eirwyn made. It is very hypnotic..Reminds me of the poster I did for Health..on Photoshop.. Hey, maybe you can hypnotise someone to join with that..
