i like both! at first i liked viz first but than i liked tokyopop better! so now i can't decide!!! crying crying sweatdrop sweatdrop

sweatdrop Heh... I like them both! Viz produces FMA (AWeSOMEEE), but TokyoPop produces some of the other mangas I read... crying

I don't care about the publishing company I care about the manga. I mean if I like the manga I read it. To me it doesn't matter who published it. Every publishing house, whether they be a publisher of manga or regular books, has authors we aren't going to like and I read such an eclectic assortment of books and manga I can say that without prejudice against anyone. The thing is, do you really not like a publishing firm for their choice in who they publish or do you not like the mangaka cause their manga is crap?

In my opinion, Viz has more abundance of titles than Tokyopop. Therefore, I have read more of Viz than Tokypop.

viz because thay have the shonen and shojo monopoly....besides tokyopop just has devil may cry and love hina the rest is crap....seriously who wants to read a video game...(kingdom hearts, devil may cry, etc...)

viz, but my biggest problem about tokyopop is actually what i am thankful for...meaning my friend has a chance to publish manga although not being from an asian country (and it being read) but a lot of non asian manga i really don't like confused

I have about 200 volumes of manga and its evenly spread out between Tokyopop Shojobeat and Viz.

Hmm. This is a tough one. I have more Tokyopop published manga so, I guess Tokyopop is better in my opinion. But, my current absolute FAVORITE publisher is Yen+. They publish a couple of my favorite manga: Zombie-Loan and Soul Eater (Can't wait till October 26th! Vol. 4 of Soul Eater comes out!)
