Then its widely agreed (among jews, that is) that jews don't hate germans, jews only dislike neo-nazism and nazis... like skin heads...
Any of you seen "the wave"? (or nahshon in hebrew). That movie draws out the lines pretty clearly why it makes no sense to hate germans. We should hate Hitler and his stupid band of cronies that started it, and the people that still agree with the dead maniac!

Unreasonable Sin it seems like jews have problems with germans? i know theres a grudge since the holocaust but... why? not all germans are like that now, some were forced into it. but when ever any jew (those around me) mention somthing about germans they have feign enthusiasm and disgust. they are all like, "germans suck..." but my dads a german jew... why do people dislike germans? ((reminder, not saying all jews do or that you do)) I'm a german jew and my great uncle has soundproof walls in his room so we don't hear him screaming every night. He survived Chelmo and Dachau. But we still speak German at my house. Nothing against the Germans, only reason I talk about is because I'm not going to let anybody forget who died. ~Remember, April 29 is National Holocaust Memorial Day~

My great aunt wont stop talking about it... she even wrote a book describing how our whole family escaped from the holocaust (her 3 sisters helped of course). It's interesting, and it gives me pride to know that I'm named after the mastermind of the escape biggrin . Some of the book was cold... very unlike my great aunt...
Did any of you have a family member that passed the holocaust and wrote a book about it?

Try the book written by Mr.Haddad, our textbook author for "Toldos yisroel"... It's a 800 page long text book we are currently using.. it documents the whole holocaust, basically everything you never wanted to know biggrin .
It has a pink/purple cover and the cover has a magen david kind of theme... It would be easier to just ask for books written by "haddad" though ;D.

True 3nodding . If it weren't for that reminder from g-d, then many jews would haved mixed deeply into goyim and would be lost. The nirenberg laws reminded them in a way that a jew is always a jew 3nodding . And yay for the state of Israel, the previous generations fought hard to stand here mrgreen

I dont hate the germans, I just get nervous when I hear people speaking in German cause, no offense to anyone, its not exactly the most positive sounding language. To me they always sound angry when they speak, but thats just me.
