Isa People can keep making threads without having the subcategory titles. It's just that some of them would be classified to make them official (or at least official looking.) No rules would be broken, just some tidying up. smile Thats what I'm talking about *highfives*

I'll post my fanfiction if there is a forum for it. Problem is most of it's a little fangirly so i sugest the following in the title thread there should be: Title: Rating: Warning: Paring:e.g. Doctor Fic - G - Warning: spoilers season 2 - No Paringthere should be a header on the post something like this TITLE: AUTHOR: RATING: PARING: SPOILERS: SUMMERY: CATEGORY: DISCLAIMER: Without Prejudice. The names of all characters contained here-in and Doctor Who are the property of the BBC. No Infringements of these copyrights are intended, and are used here without permission. I am in no way affiliated with the BBC or Doctor Who production team. How are fanfic forums usually structured? Some people like to write these things in chapters... should each chapter be written in the same thread, or be the start of a new one? If it's the former, will people also be allowed to comment on the fanfic in the same thread (putting their feedback in the space between each new chapter)?
I don't think I'm in favor of making "pairing" a mandatory part of the title. It sort of assumes that the majority of fanfics will be slash fiction. If there is a pairing, then by all means put Doctor/Rose or Doctor/Rose/Jack or whatever in the title, but if not, I don't feel the author should be expected to put "no pairing" as a matter of policy.

Well from someone who knows
The chapters are all put in the same thread and people comment between chapters. The header I stuck up is what people normally use, the bit hairy said is normaly put in the title and the header.

How about graphics we can share? Does this guild have its own banner to post at the bottom in our signatures?

Wind-Whisper How about graphics we can share? Does this guild have its own banner to post at the bottom in our signatures? There may be some in the Pictures subforum... The sticky topic for Banner Deposits should still be there. You can see if there's anything you like, or put some new ones of your own.

Would a Classic Series Subforum be a good idea? You could make one sticky topic for each Doctor to stay at the top, so it would be quick & easy to find talk about your favorite. after that, everyone could make new topics as they pleased about classic episodes, companions, monsters, etc.

I'd have to lock them gonk why do you want us to have MORE work to do? *thunks her head on the wall* Of corse its still better then having a different subforum for each doctor that somebody sugested. stressed

Maybe it would be an idea to just keep until the Guild grows nice & big, then. It would keep the topics about Classic Doctors from getting buried. (shrugs) it was just an idea I had. I just got here.

I just got here. It is a good Idea. I'm just letting you know its not going to get implimented right now. At the moment since we only have about 4 pages worth of stuff I expect people to be able to look for what they want to talk about. 3nodding
