I feel so out of the loop. I am totally American with no Asian backround whatsoever. I speak no exotic language (though I desperatly want to learn Hindi) I am in awe of the whole South Asian culture and Bollywood moveis. I think Priyanka Chopra is georgous and John Abraham is hot. (I hate to sound like some arrogant white chick, but that's how I feel.) I LOVE the movie Andaaz and I have watched it too many times to count. I also love Broadway musicals and Damon Albarn, but that doesn't really pertain to this guild.
Oh yeah, my mom lived in Thiland for about 5 years but that was due to a business trip.

I don't think I ever posted in here....
Anyways I'm pinkcheerbear428 and I'm here to vent out all my bollywoodness since my friends find it to be foreign=lame -to them-
They tell me Hrithik is ugly and so is Arjun but we all know they must be scared of foreign stuff xD. I only come on gaia for this guild and I don't really care for gold or my avi cuz that stuff reminds me of sites like neopets (D:
I admit that I took a break from bollywood and did the whole american teen thing but you can't stay away from what you're grown up on for to long.
When people were trying to copy the back street boys' moves I was trying to do Hrithiks. NSYNC was their music fix and mine was from different bollywood films.
Erm, yeh. So, I'm very active in this guild and I make a LOT of the topics biggrin

I am Srijana, but you can call me Seer. I am Nepali who currently lives in Texas. I'm 14 turning 15 at the end of this month.
I can understand hindi, but barely speak it. I do speak my native language as well, and I do know spanish as well. Lol. I have been raised around Indian culture, and I guess you could say that I might have some Indian ancestry. My dad did grow up in Darjeeling. He went to the school where Main hoon na was shot at.

hey everyone...
my name is fainas and i am sri-lankan but living in montreal, canada for the moment..i am 20 (for now atleast) and i am a third year college student in a french cegep in a nursing programme...
I've always loved to dance to any kind of music especially hindi songs..even when i was a lil kid i would dress up with my moms dupatta as a saree and start dancing..for now i have put my dancing to a side but it happens sometimes that i dance when i feel like it..
I watch a lot of english,hindi and tamil movies. I enjoy this guild a lot.. and hope to get to know you all a lil bit..

Hey, I'm a Malayalee (can't speak Malayalam, yes, I'm a disgrace), born in NYC the moved shortly afterwards (I'm nearby, just don't like disclosing much). XP
I'm 17 years-old, so I'm kind of old..compared to most of the people I see around here. No need to feel intimadated.. XD
I love all Indian clothing, sarees, salvars, and churidaars 'specially.
I'm not really into Bollywood but it's nice to see a South Indian-community on Gaia, nonetheless.
I'm your typical 'studious Asian', usually pressured to study a lot by parents (who else?), so I'm not on Gaia frequently.
