Goodwin kicked his horse and they rode with tremendous speed out of the stables and soon out of the city limits. As Goodwin looked back at his home he saw flames and smoke rise in the air. The noise of battle faided away as they got further and further away.

Arabelle had never rode on a horse at this speed before, but it was a wonderful feeling! The wind rushed through her hair and around her face as they galloped. She didn't look back, she would never look back.

As Goodwin and Arabelle rode side by side Goodwin was unable to stop staring at the princess. He finally forced himself to look ahead. He said nothing.

She smiled, feeling him watching her. As soon as he turned his head away, she stared at HIM. She couldn't help herself, after all. She WAS human.

"We're heading to Tazt." Goodwin said finally with a slightly awakward look on his face. "Are you familiar with that village?" he asked Arabelle as he looked back at her. She once again caught his eyes and he couldn't look away.

She continued to stare, unashamed. "No, I've never been off of the castle grounds before..."

Goodwin blushed a little. "Well, Tazt is a good place to visit, even under these circumstances. Full of very friendly people. They've been alied to out kingdom for years." Goodwin continued to stare as well, sence Arabelle was returning the stare he felt less awkward.

Arabelle smiled more, feeling foolish, and blushed a lot. She just couldn't stop staring at him! She couldn't believe she had known him for years and had never really noticed him before...He was always just THERE.

After a while they neared the the village of Tazt. "Here we are." Goodwin said as they passed through the town enterance. Goodwin dismounted and walked over to Arabelle's hourse. He gazed up at her, unable to move or speak for a moment.

Arabelle smiled and blushed more. No one had ever looked at her the way he was looking at her now..She loved every moment of it.

Goodwin snapped out of it and helped Arabelle down. He blushed as he guided the horses to a near by Inn.
((maybe i should have added a few things when we were talking to Lucian... let's say we need to keep a low profile and are to wait at a specific Inn until some one sent by Lucian or Lucian himself comes and informs us of what has happened?))

Arabelle glided off of her horse and followed Goodwin to the stables of the Inn. She turned him to face her...
"I want to tell you something...No one has ever looked at me the way you were just now looking at me...I've never looked at someone the way I was looking at you...What does this mean?"

Goodwin paused and blushed for a moment. "Well... uh... when I look at you that way... I'm... um... I'm thinking of how atractive you are." he said very awkwardly, though he still stared.
