i don't mind listening to Dark Light now and again, even though i skip through it a bit but oh well. I rather like 'Play Dead', 'The Cage' and 'In The Nightside Of Eden'. though i have to say Dark Light isn't my favourite album. My favourite album is 'Razorblade Romance' or 'Love Metal' can't pick between the two. I Love 'Beyond Redemption' and 'Razorblade Kiss'

i liked dark light... it wasnt like their previous albums... it was kinda exotic sounding...not love metal-ey dont get me wrong..i still love the album but it was just too different my favorite album is a tie between love metal and razorblade romance heart heart heart heart heart heart heart heart heart

Don't get me wrong i love the band HIM, but dark light is a tad boring..i mean shure they have some great songs on there but some of them are just way way boring..and about the whole sounding alike listen to the cage and Venus if you have the extended verison or whatever..you'll notice a pattern..i posted a forum about it on here but since you guys were talking about dark light i joined in..they older music was always different..none sounded alike..wicked game was a re-copy of an 80's song ( the HIM version is better though) and they re-did dont fear the reaper by blue oystercult (sp) also which is 70s i think..not for sure on that date...
i liked all their preivous cds..

....Deep Shadows And Brilliant Highlights
they were al fantastic to me...
i know alot of the same songs were produced on these cds but they did mix it up with different songs added..but some songs were repeated on to each cd..i dont have their newest UNeasy listening vol. 1 but there were tracks repeatedo n there also..but there were ones i havent heard too..so it'll be bought and added to my collection..

dark light was okay..it wasnt the best ever. i mean i like the songs, but i have to mix the up with other music, like on a mix cd or on my MP3 player. the videos were cool, and i love them. i like the music, dont get me wrong, but they sound...indiffrent. i can sit own and listen to the entire album, but i get bored. but i could listen to Drunk On Shadows, Behind The Crimson Door, and Under The Rose forever if i had to.

I love the song Drunk On Shadows from the Dark Light album. I also like a lot of other songs. So Dark Light is in my top 5 list. I think it would go as...
1) Love Metal
2) Brilliant highlights and Deep Shadows
3) Razorblade Romance
4) Dark Light
5) Greatest Love songs Vol.666

Viselle You're right blackfoxi, Dark Light is so damn boring. I turn it off after the first five tracks.
And don't even get me started on the song Dark Light... gonk
And as for people only having heard of Dark Light, the amount of join requests I see with "OMG my favourite song is Wings Of A Butterfly!!!!1", it makes me wanna scream. i like that song but i dont go crazy over it
