Ina frowned thoughtfully and then jabbed a finger at the stinky man. "Like dis?" she as Haki, prodding again with her finger. She didn't understand the other girl's motions to climb. Nor did she have the same knowledge of doctors as Haki. Ari didn't watch doctor shows...so when the tv was on it was mostly cartoons for her, Luca, or Gawain. Not much doctor stuff in those.

Haki blinked, and nodded. More or less. "Mmhmmm." nudging the couch to see how much space the man left, and patted the area. Maybe Ina would be better at this climbing stuff.

"More space."

See? She could be helpful too. And by more space she meant more space for her to poke at. Or something.

Ina needed no further prodding, so to speak. She climbed up on the side of the couch and stood on her tip toes, holding onto the stinky man for balance. She still couldn't see if he was being zombiefied or not! So with a frown and a wrikle of her nose in distaste(because the smell was stronger up here) she began to climb on top of him to get a better look. She didn't watch where her tail was going, nor her feet or her hands or anything really. She just focused on her goal! The poor stinking man was being stepped all over in the process, but whatever.

Stephan might have been a deep sleeper, but toddlers were heavy. As the girl started to climb all over him, hitting some sensitive areas with those little feet of hers, he started to wake up. By the time she had crawled onto his chest, pressing it down in the process, he was opening his eyes. As she crawled up, nearing his face, he managed to open his eyes completely, focusing his vision. The wolf girl's eyes were not exactly the best thing to be looking into when you'd just woken up. And, nearly having a heart attack, Stephan was staring into them. What the hell was... Before his mind could finish its thought, he let out a loud scream that, in all honestly, sounded like a girl. He nearly jumped to his feet, not really noticing that he might drop the thing onto the ground, and ran back against the wall, wide eyed and trying to catch his breath.

Haki let out a shriek of fright too. It was ALIVE! Wondering if maybe Ina's walking and poking had special voodoo powers, (and deciding to check THAT out on a later date) the note of fright ended in one of pleasure. It WAS alive! Which meant another toy to play with!

Because surely, whoever had designed the clean walls had left the man as a present for the toddlers too. And what could be more than a living doll? She could wash him, and feed him, and clothe him, and put makeup on that face... distracted, she cast a glance at Ina, before moving towards the sthinky man.

"Doll!" she proclaimed.

At first when the stinky man began to move Ina didn't notice much, except that he had to keep her balance a little better. But when he opened his eyes to stare at her she stopped. And stared back. When he screamed she shrieked, falling backwards as she jumped up. She tumbled backwards onto the hard floor, yelping in the process. Ok, being thrown off a grown stinky man as he gets up makes you fall pretty darn far!

Feeling pain in her arms and her tail and well...all over, she let her shriek turn into a wail instead. She didn't care if he was alive or a zombie or anything now! So she screamed and cried and was pretty damn loud. It was almost impossible for anyone to hear Haki's doll comment with her like that.

Why was she crying? Haki, who couldn't understand the pain of falling from any height (she usually never tried to attempt anything that might risk falling) looked forewords, walking over and hesitating. Wow. Ina could be pretty loud when she wanted to be, huh? Concerned, but irritated at the same time (did crying like that help? At all? And it didn't involve anything life altering either!) she looked to the man.

Well, he was certainly bigger than they were. Wasn't he supposed to try to fix something like this?

Because she didn't want to try.

Panting with one hand over his chest, Stephan was suddenly shocked into babysitter mode. s**t. Why was she crying? Oh, right, he'd thrown her off hadn't he. s**t. She was going to get the attention of everyone in the building screaming like that. And then he'd get kicked out of here, or arrested, something definately bad. What had he done when Angie had been a kid and screamed like this? He had to rack his brain for an answer, and the noise certainly wasn't helping his concentration. Well, he didn't have a lollypop with him, he'd probably need two or the other kid would start screeching too, and he didn't have any toys.

Maybe talking to her? Yeah.

"Hey, calm down, it's ok," he tried to tell her, crawling back toward them. He was sort of yelling, but he had to to be heard over the volume, "I'm not gonna hurt you. You just scared me. I bet you hurt yourself, huh? Want to show me where it hurts? Maybe I can get you a bandaid." Kids liked bandaids right? Well, Angie had at least.

Ina continued to scream and wail, her ears pressed against her hair and her tail looking extremely poofy. It was hard to tell if she even heard the stinky man's yells, the way she was acting. She even began to kick and sway back and forth, obviously distressed and upset. It seemed doubtful that a bandaid would fix this one. There was no visable owie...though she did look a little red on some parts of the skin where she had hit the ground. Hm...you know, the air was starting to smell funny. Was that gas? Well...Ina HAD left the stove on after all.

Haki let out a squeal when she saw the man move. Well, he was big! And why was he speaking in such a big voice? They weren't stupid. Deciding that at this moment she could have heard him anyways underneath the loud noise, she inched closer to Ina and tried to comfort her... somehow.

Except all that fussing was scary- she'd been bitten by this girl once. She didn't want to be kicked too! This wasn't what she had signed up for, by inviting her over for a playdate.

"Ina, sokay!" she yelled just as loudly- some of it was because others were yelling too, and also because... well, yelling seemed fun.

And how often would she get to yell?

She didn't smell the gas- her nose wasn't sensitive enough. All that she knew was that the man was smelly- but he sounded nice. And Ina was LOUD.
