with unseen quickness, especially for his size, alladar slices through every foe he sees. his massive glowing sword, which he swings one-handed, cutting through everything in his path. the fallen foes never bleed a drop, as the sword seals off the wounds. he hacks his way through the enemy forces, quickly thinning them out. "this is for my family," he yells as he chops a man in half. he slices his way through the rapidly thinning forces and immediately had a thought. "this seems too easy. there's gotta be something going on." he stops to look back at the town, peering off in the distance to see if there are forces coming in to the south. seeing that the south area is clear, alladar turns just in time to catch a sword through his chest. he looks at the man on the other end of the sword and smiles. his smile quickly turns to rage when he sees the dragon crest around that man's neck. he rips off the man's arm, pulls the sword out of his chest, and thrusts it through the man's face and through a large tree. he looks down at where the man ran him through and saw untouched armor. then seeing that the pack is making quick work of the rest of the enemy forces, he charges toward the giant. wolf and merick are working themselves hard, but the giant keeps shaking each blow off like they were nothing. alladar calls merick and wolf back to regroup. the giant will have a much harder time defending off 3 opponents. alladar touches merick and wolf and watches them glow. alladar looks at both of them and yells, "let's go!"

swinging with all his might, alladar drives his massive, glowing blade deep into the giant's leg. the giant starts to lose it's balance just as merick lunges for it's throat. the blow from the giant wolf knocks the giant off it's feet. merick quickly goes to work on the giant, tearing open it's jugular vein and spraying blood everywhere. alladar surveys the battlefield and sees very few of the enemy still standing. " leave one live," alladar barks at the wolves. " i want him to go back and tell his commander what happened tonight!" he grabs a frightened goblin on its retreat, looked at the little creature with disgust, cuts off its arms with the sealing properties of the sword and tells it to go back to camp with a message. "tell your commander that alladar of the draconian knights is coming for him," alladar screamed at the goblin. then with a sharp whack of the flat end of his sword alladar smacks the goblin on it's wounded a**. " let's finish these last few off. we have a lot of cleaning up to do before the sun rises," alladar said to wolf and merick.

looking at merick, then at wolf, alladar shook his head. "magick was never one of my strong points. i can summon, but...." just then, a thought came across the big man's head. "i got it. i can call forth the phoenix. legends have it that the phoenix's tears have a remarkable healing property. i know it's going by legend, but i think there's truth behind the old myths." with that, alladar thrust his blade into the ground and chanted. just then a bright radiant light rose out of the west and i giant flaming bird flew quickly toward alladar. the phoenix landed in front of alladar. alladar went to talk to the phoenix, who cocked its head toward the injured wolf. then the phoenix hopped over to the wolf. merick whined and wolf looked at the phoenix apprehensively and looked over to alladar. alladar reassured wolf that everything's ok as the phoenix screeched loudly. just then, a single tear fell on the wolf's massive wound, healing it almost instantly. then the phoenix hopped over to alladar and he stroked it's brightly colored feathers. alladar pulls out an empty vial and the phoenix fills it with it's tears. alladar walked over to wolf with the vial and says, "use this to heal the injured wolves. use it sparingly though. phoenix tears are hard to come by and shouldn't be abused." then alladar stroked the phoenix's head and let it fly back where it came from.

"a drink and a bath sounds good. i'm covered in giant blood, and the smell is horrible." alladar's eyes stop glowing and the shiny scaled armor disappears. alladar pulls his huge sword out of the ground and wipes the blood off of it with his cloak. "when the shops open, i'm gonna have to buy a new one" he sets his blood-stained and tattered cloak on the ground and sets it on fire, then looked to the north. alladar knew he had a long journey ahead of him and wasn't looking forward to it. the four wolves that died protecting the small town weighed on his mind. he wasn't willing to ask wolf to risk his and his pack's necks in the upcoming battle that he's about to wage. alladar walks up to the town gates and imitated a very convincing hawk call. just as instructed the gates opened up with a very puzzled look coming from the guard's face. the two men make their way back to the inn.

"yes, i'm heading north. there was way too many stolen dragon crests for me to believe that it was just a coincidence," alladar said before ordering himself and wolf both a pint of ale. "those crests belonged to my long departed brethren and i plan on avenging them as best i can, or die trying." alladar looks at wolf. "wait, did you say vampire? there was a man who was impervious to sword strikes. he bit my younger brother in the neck. but i thought vampires were gone long ago." alladar sipped his ale. "now, about that female wolf. is she the mother of that pup?"

*wakes up slightly and then fully at a big wolf now in bed with her. She takes a deep breath, staying very still at the sight.* Um, hello *she whispers to the wolf and tries to figure out how to get out of this situation fully intact.*

*Wolf glanced over at the door*Hmm... that might be true... but if we hear growling thats when we have to worry.

*As mother wolf snuggled in the pup woke up and yapped happily nuzzling his mother then leaped over her back pouncing on the woman and sitting beside her. He yapped at his mom then licked the womans cheek. The mother looked at the woman curiously at first then to the pup before looking back to the woman. She stood suddenly and sniffed around the woman then her head tickling her ear a little with the moms nose before giving the woman a big lick across her cheek in thanks for watching out for the pup. The mother wolf laid across the bed beside her the pup stretched out putting his back paws against his mom and laying his head on her neck snuggling himself back to sleep*

alladar looks out the window of the inn. dawn is starting to break over the horizon. he then looks at wolf. "i figure i should get at least a couple hours of rest before i get supplies. i was planning on leaving first thing this morning, but after last night's battle, there's no way that's going to happen. i'll gather what i need for the journey up north throughout today and we'll meet back here at dusk to map out our journey. it'll probably be best if we have a plan of action instead of rushing into this." upon saying that, alladar drained his ale, set two gold pieces on the bar and heads for his room. he pauses, turns around and looks wolf in the eyes. "the old myths say that when a person is bitten by a vampire, they themselves become one. they also become slaves to tht vampire that has bitten them. if this is true, we may have to kill my brother." he sighed heavily, turned, and went to his room. alladar has a lot weighing on his mind, and sleep will be difficult for him. but he hasn't had a good night sleep in years.
