Halloween is actually my favorite movie. I liked H2O too. Resurrection sucked. I miss Donald Pleasance. cry
Am I the only person on Earth who kinda liked part 3, even if Michael Myers was absent?

willowtree Am I the only person on Earth who kinda liked part 3, even if Michael Myers was absent? Well, since I already knew the whole reason behind Season of the Witch having nothing to do with the previous two installments, despite keeping the franchise name (The producers originally intended to offer a completely new story with a Halloween theme for movie-goers come every October; the only reason Michael was brought back was because this film flopped), I managed to think of the movie as its own entity. To be honest, I find the third installment to be a decent popcorn flick and one of the more entertaining films in the series. By the way, anyone hear about Moustapha Akkad dying of injuries sustained in the Jordan bombings?

the first one to me is the best and the rest were predictable except when the girl goes psycho and kills her mother like michael and the worst one was the one with silver shamrock or something it had nothing to do halloween really

sarru . . . and the worst one was the one with silver shamrock or something it had nothing to do halloween really I hate to always have to say this..... Michael Myers was never intended to be central to the Halloween franchise, and I would really appreciate it if people would stop attacking Season of the Witch just because a slasher is not a part of the movie's narrative.

I can't agree enough, oh Wicked one! I actually LOVE the third movie! My least favorite is the 2nd one. Every kill was cliche and I hated watching a terrified Jamie Lee hobble around a hospital for the entire movie. Though the actual feel of the movie was classic 80's slasher, which I love! I much prefered the joint-smoking-didn't-know-she-was-in-trouble Jamie from the first one.

OK, please don't laugh at me but I had to leave the theatre while watching Halloween 5. I was very young and it was the first one I ever saw. My mother didn't exactly approve of me watching horror movies when I was younger. I have since got over that, but for some reason, I still can't get past the last half hour of the movie. I've seen all the others, and all the way through, but not this one.
Hey, did anyone else know that the face mask that John Carpenter used was of William Shatner's Captain James T. Kirk mask with spray paint?
