I have found 21 movies with the # 42 the last being in Batman Begins, in the scene where batman first shows up on one of the crates is the answer.

I just turned on the Tour de France 10 minutes ago and the camera was focusing on biker #142. At Sachsenhausen concentration camp (near Berlin), 42 was the maximum number of lashes one could give a prisoner. (*sniff* Sad, I know. I just bought a copy of Alice in Wonderland and it has 42 pictures (I didn't count. It says in the begining of the book)
My parents bought a cieling fan that has a 42" diameter (I didn't measure, it says on the box)

My mom has a site full of photo galleries of stuff she takes pictures of (bands, school plays, etc.). Most of the galleries have 42 pictures, or at least a number close to 42.
