*After noticing Ariana's smirk, she nudges Alex a bit and whispers to him so only he can hear* I didn't like that smirk she gave me, and she all of a sudden seemed really nice. It doesn't seem right... What do you think of it? You're her father. Does she do this often? Random mood swings, that is?
*Takes a piece of pizza and begins eating*

Oh, I know what she's doing. It's become routine lately. *Alex walks over to the phone cradle, kneels down, and unplugs the phone cord from the cradle, so the regular phone gets no reception, either.*
She's trying to talk to friends on the regular phone, and acting nice just so she can, without attracting attention to taking the phone. Pizza? *Puts a piece of pizza on Lira's plate*

Well, I have an idea.... *Alex walks over to the stairs, and calls up, "Ariana, you are to stay in your room for the rest of the day! End of story! You're grounded for the rest of the day!"*
Oh, hey, I forgot to offer you a drink. What would you like? We've got coke, pepsi, Guinness beer, whiskey, wine, champagne....you name it, we probably got it.

Well, beer always goes best with pizza, so...*Alex reaches into the fridge, gets some Guinness, and brings two cans over to Lira, and hands one to her. He opens his, takes a deep drink, and then sighs, putting his arm around her waist* Good stuff...
