Her plan had worked! Her elfish charm had allowed the strange man to trust her and she finally had some food. She gave most of the deer meat to Kei, keeping only a small amount for herself. Since she was still lost, she waited for Kei to decide their next course of action.

Kei immediately sits and chows down, ignoring the wild man's remark on her mental state, figuring he ought to check himself. "Anyway." she began with her mouth full. "What're you doing living out here...er..." she swallows and looks up, "didn't catch your name."

Watching the strange lady devour his food, Wallace scratched his head and said "I Wallace. I live here. This my home. That's what I doing here: live. What about you? Why are you here?" He said, meaning both Kei and Liyana.

"We're passing through on our way to Niyaha...you know, Kitty cats!" She makes a cat-ear gesture over her head, grinning from ear to ear.
((Note: No one should ever call a self-respecting Niyahan a kitty-cat.))

Wallace watches her make the cat ear gesture curiously. "Erh.. no, I mean I know what kitty cat is, but not Niyaha. Where's that?"

"Eh...not exactly. I'm going there to look for a particular group of kitty cats...for something they did to me a long time ago..." Her face grows serious and she points to Liyana. "I dunno what the hell she wants from there, but I'm gonna make sure she doesn't get herself killed on the way."

Wallace stared blankly at Liyana, a little confused about why the two strange women wanted to see a bunch of cats so badly. "why would she get killed? These woods are dangerous, but they're not that dangerous..." Wallace paused for a moment, staring off into the trees as if remembering something. "These trees my home." He said finally, reassuring himself that the woods to the west are completely safe.

"Hehe...I don't think you truly understand, my wild friend. These cats are shaped like men. But they carry the same temperment. They can play with humans...like mice before they kill them. Listen, It's not something I'm gonna go through with explaining all the way." she seems hesitant to explain further and changes the subject, "As far as the woods are concerned, you haven't seen many cut-throats around, huh?"

"Dangerous strange cats you say? I don't believe you. I don't know what you mean cut-throat, but i see strange men here sometimes that attack people. They're easy to spot though. I know this place, it my home."

Liyana snapped out of her trance. "Yes! I'm ready to go. And I'm only going with you to get my family honor back. I need to find these cat-people too," she explained to the two before continuing, "These woods seem a little scary, Kei, perhaps we should ask Wallace to come with us?"

"I just thought that it might do the guy some good to get out of these woods." She gathered her things as she spoke. When she stood ready, next to Kei, she turned to look at Wallace. "Well, are you coming with us, or no?"
