Her head sunk down onto her paws, "I....I don't know..." She said. Come to think about it, she never thought what might actually happen if she did meet up with him. She whinned even more as he metioned her leaving or being "lost" to Akui. Her head jerked up slightly, "I wouldn't leave forever...I'd come back. You know I would... just like the last time!" She said, she stopped herself from whinning. "I just wanted to try, can't I just try?"

Akui gave her a skeptical look.
"I'm afraid... if you find him you will not want to come back. At least..not come back without him. But if he's travelling with another pack, I doubt he would readily leave for another...
..but he would be welcome amoung us."
He also lowered his head to his paws, a sadness washing over him. He couldn't leave Nyx now, no matter how much he tried. If Noke felt anything for this... Kamali like he felt for Nyx... he knew he would never see his precious Noke again...
"I will not stop you from going, Noke. I want you to be happy..."

She listened to him silently wondering what he would say. Would he forbid it or allow it. She would only know if she listened. She tried to listen to him thoroughly, but her heart wouldn't allow it. Butterflies churned in her stomach dancing to the loud rythym of her heart. Then she heard it, a silent joyial wave engulphed her. She was happy, she really was. Yet, Akui? He seemed sad, was he not happy about her finding love or one in which captured her heart. She slowly crawled towards him, "I promise Akui, I will come back. Not only that, but I will tell you about the lands I have traveled and I'll tell the pups my stories of adventures." She said in a quiet, but excited voice. She licked his face again before backing off a bit. "I promise..." She whispered.

Akui's tail thumped in a bittersweet manner as she licked him. He nuzzled her back. His own stomach churned, a worry setting over him. He did want to see her leave. And the thought of her not returning... no, he wasn't going to think about that.
"I sure hope you mean that, Noke. I do not want to say goodbye to you forever..."
