Mercury33 I wish they'd release Stars over here. My friend went to Hong Kong last year and managed to get a copy with English subtitles. It's so awesome! But now i want my own copy even more. crying

In holland they won't go further than season 1, because the rest contains lesbians, singing and to much violence gonk
They even made those 2 guys that work for galaxia, I forgot their names, into a hetero couple.
Yes, they gave 1 a woman's voice crying

you mean for beyrl? yes, well...as i may have said before, sailor moon is not meant for audiences that include kids. it's rated 13 and up in japan you know. anyway, usually dubs don't do sailor moon justice. you're better off with the original japanese and good subtitles.

If I recall right, all of the quartet were female when I watched it so long ago. So then, yes.

Yes, they gave 1 a woman's voice crying I HATE HOLLAND!!! Wait.... singing? gonk Anyway, America did all that to Kunzite and Zoisite too. We almost didn't get R or beyond either. The ratings were so good DiC decided to go ahead and buy most of R. Then they finally bought the rest of it. Then Cloverway FINALLY bought and syndicated S and Super S. They did a fairly good job in my opinion. I'm not too fond of Trista and Amara, but they could have done a LOT worse on the names, and they didn't remove as many episodes/pieces of episodes. I'm not goign to scroll back over old pages, because I'm lazy and stubborn ( razz ) so have you guys discussed how Sailor Moon almost stopped at R in Japan as well?

actually, i didn't know that japan almost stopped at r ninja naoko seemed pretty relaxed about that in her side discussions...uh... redface can you tell us (me) more about it? mrgreen

i have all of the seasons of Sailor Moon and in the process of buying the dubb verions of Stars...I actually think Usagi's voice is annoying in the first part of Season One.....I actually like Lita/Sailor Jupiters voice it is the same voice actor for all seasons....It's not so bad in english yes they should have left everything it but when DIC did it they mainly did the dub for young girls where in Japan it was for teenagers. SuperS was left with all of the episodes and dubbed in English this was by far the best dubbed season for that reason.

a lot of people on the net say they hate super S, but i love it. i've never seen it dubbed though.

I don't know why out of all of the dubbed seasons it is the best.....I have all of the dubbed seasons and Stars.....I am buying Stars from negavision.com since they are dubbing it into enlish, I don't speak Japenese and it would be cool to see it in English.
