I don't haveany funny moments, but me and my friends always have to yell out things from Phantom in fifteen when we see it. I can never watch the movie the same way again. xp

My thought? I have quite a few, as random ideas just come to me anyhow. Heh.
The two I like the most so far are when...
Erik (in the 2004 movie) is leading Christine down the winding stone pathway, holding the torch to light the way. Because the wig looks so greased, suddenly a thought occured to me that it would be great if suddenly right during the middle of singing "The Phantom of the Opera" the fire from the torch jumped to the cowl he was wearing and started a grease fire XD My friend screencapped a scene from the movie where honestly, if you doctored in some fire on Erik's head, Christine looks like she's gawking and telling him his hair's on fire. *shrug*
And also, during Raoul's carriage ride to the Opera Garnier in the beginning of the movie, I always imagine a tree branch sticking out of nowhere, clotheslining him xd xd xd It makes me giggle.

That actually happened to a Phantom in the stage show. They had used a little too much hair spray and a spark from the candle in the final lair ignited Thomas James O'Leary's wig. He didn't notice until the entire thing was on fire and the stage managers were poised just offstage with fire extinguishers, preparing to rush out there and put the Phantom out. Luckily, he finally noticed and managed to beat it out without breaking character. Afterwards he said everyone at the stage door was asking how they had done that amazing effect where it looked like his head was on fire... xD

XD ROFL Man, I feel bad for the guy, but still that is amazing that he would be able to do that without getting out of character, LOL. This makes me giggle, hah.

No kidding. It happened in the US tour around the mid-90's. I have a news interview on tape where O'Leary tells the story.
Michael Crawford has also caught himself on fire in the middle of a show, but it was just the hem of his cloak.

I don't like people to be seriously in danger of being harmed. *pout* Especially not Phantoms!

Aww, I wouldn't be able to contribute very much as I haven't been to the Musical, yet. Hopefully that will change by the end of the year! xd heart There was one thing I watched on Youtube... Where right at the end of Past the Point of No Return, where Christine throws back the cloak from Erik's head, the cloak got stuck and the crowd gasps. Man, I would die if that happened to me. But as they say, the show must go on. sweatdrop

This has got to be when I couldn't stop thinking of things from Cleolinda's "Phantom of the Opera in Fifteen Minutes." I kept trying so hard not to laugh, but I kept thinking of "The Dread Pirate Roberts Dance Troupe" during PoNR, and at the end I kept thinking about how he was "woefully playing with his monkey." I kept telling myself "stop laughing, this is a sad part." But for some reason I couldn't stop giggling at that line. So, basically, most of the funny things I've throught during the movie were from Cleolinda.

*snrk* I get the same thing with, 'the Phantom is playing with his organ'. Even in the stage show I occasionally get the giggles just thinking of that line.
