Heres how I htink it will happen:
Tsunade grants permission for naruto to take teh Jounin test and skip the chuunin test. Hinata finds out taht Naruto is joining the Jounin test and signs up wanting to be promoted with Naruto. For some reason during a one on one fight they get paired up having to ifhgt each otehr. Hinata quickly declines, but then Naruto pulls up and says "Oy! Hinata! If you backout from this fight and dont show me your shinobi way, I will find you not fit to become a shinobi period." as he pulls into his fighting stance. "Go all out Hinata!" He says as he goes into his fighting stance. Hinata quickly relizes what he means and gets into her fighting stance. After a well fought battle, in which Hinata wins, but then passes out form the battle making it a tie, he gets impressed by Hinata going all out for that one battle. After the battle is over and both of them recovering, he goes up to Hinata and says "Hinata, that was a really great match. I know I lost to you, so how bout I take you out sometime, you know to congratulate your win." This makes Hinata pass out again in a mad blushing furry. The next day as they go out to eat they get informed taht they were both promoted to Jounins. Then Naruto happy raises Hinata in the air and kisses her not knowing what happend, soon to folow with Hinata passing out. After she wakes up Naruto asks her out again, quickly adding to celebrate becoming Jounins together. Soon after taht thy started going out without excuses.
Thats how I htink it will happen ninja Mabey I wrote a bit too much....

Iia Because SasuSaku will become cannon and Naruto will be forced to realize his feelings for Hinata! Bwahahaha!
I think that she will tell him on her own how she feels. She'll maybe ask him to go on a walk with her. Then, she'll sun up the courage to tell him. <3 I really think that Naruto wouldn't mind. I think that he'd try and get to know her better, and slowly begins to develop feelings for her. <3 i sort of agree with u it sounds like Naruto and Hinata! Besides i think Naruto knows she will never love him.(sad) crying whee (but happy)

idk if someone already said somethign like this cuz i didnt take the time to read all of the ideas yet but something like theyre both on a mission when a seriously strong enemy shows up and whoops them good. Then Hinata is in trouble and near death when BAM naruto saves her from some attack possably sacraficing something on his part like ninja stars in the back or somthing and then hes all pissed so he defeats the enemy! woot woot...ok and then he passes out and wakes up in the hospital and Hinatas there and asks something like *why did you do that* or *why did you save me* and Naruto says something sweet like *i realized how important you are to me* or something...man i put too much thought into that...

For example, it what situation will Hinata confess? Or maybe..er..how would Naruto start developing feelings for Hinata without it being to cheesy or cliche? Or to sum it all up, how will Kishi fit it into the Naruto series? heart it happen on they 2 date

I'm still not sure it's going to happen... but if it does [hopefully], then, um...
Okay, I can't think of anything at the moment. But I liked all yoour ideas better. I always thought of the whole 'dying, confessing, then not dying' thing and it fits real well. I read a FanFic like that, where Hinata overhears Tsunade and Shizune talking about a plant dying and it being a restless spirit or something, but then-

I don't know i think hinata will tell naruto how she fells then she will run home and naruto is left confused but goes home and trys to sleep but cant and stays up all night thinking about it then in the morning he will realize that it was ment to be and will go talk to hinata and tell her he loves her to.

I'm so pathetic, I had a dream about how this would happen. xd
(Sorry if they may seem a bit off character, this is how I imagined it.)
-Post time-skip-
Naruto is walking around Konoha, talking to people he hasn't seen since he left, when he notices someone is staring at him from a small alley. When he sneaks up behind the person, he notices it's Hinata and then taps her on the shoulder. Hinata turns around, wondering where Naruto went, and right as she sees him, she falls down unconscious. Naruto then carries her to her house so she can rest, and goes back out looking for people.
-A few hours later-
Hinata wakes up and goes straight to Godaime Tsunade, asking her to send her and Naruto on a small mission so that they can talk and catch up with what's been happening. Tsunade then summons Naruto, and the are sent on a B-Rank mission, just protecting some old fart.
-On the way back to Konoha-
Naruto: That was pretty fun, it's nice to get an easy mission after training for so long.
Hinata: Yeah, i'm glad I suggeste...
Naruto: You asked Granny Tsunade?
Hinata: Y-Yes Naruto-kun.
Naruto: Cool, but why'd you do that.
Hinata: 'Face turns bright red' Because.
Naruto: 'Interrupting' Because?
Hinata: 'Whispering' I l-like you.
Naruto: I couldn't hear you, what did you say?
Hinata: 'A bit louder' I love you Naruto-kun!
Naruto: 'Face turns red'
Hinata: 'Runs off'
Naruto: 'Shocked for a few seconds' H-Hinata loves me? 'Starts running after Hinata'
Hinata: 'Crying and running' I never should've told him, why'd I listen to Sakura-chan.
Naruto: Wait Hinata. 'Catching up to her'
Hinata: Huh? H-He's coming after me? 'Closes her eyes and keeps running'
Naruto: Wait!
Hinata: 'Trips over a rock.' Naruto-kun!
Naruto: 'Finally catches up and catches her as she falls.' I love you too.
So loser-iffic. I couldn't remember every detail considering it was just a dream, so I improvised a bit. It was a lot better in my dream. xp
