Ahhh, this is a fun topic.

yes, the VAs in Battle Legends are HORRIBLE. I haven't actually tried to see if I can turn the VAs off... I will later...

Anyway, I can beat ANYTHING in that game with a Raven Raptor + Twin Pile Bankers and a Missle Pod set.

Well, anything except those giant zoids that can't be hit by Melee/Physical attacks...

Mu brother uses that combo but a irvines command wolf is a good beginner zoid and if u get good at pioliting it u can beat omost anny 1

MIRAKU BOI. Hahaha. XD Suddenly my mind wanted to say, "Hermann calls EVERYONE 'Miracle Boy!'"

xd He must call everyone that. I'm surprised that isn't a running joke by now. xd

...

So...to those that play Legacy, anyone have a preference for the zoids and/or characters they use? I can't really say much right now since I only have 4 people to use and it's just early on in the game anyways. sweatdrop

X3

Preferences... Not really any Zoids preferences. XD I know I always kept O'Connell on my team! Even though they made him have crappy stats. WTF. D=

Zan's another character who I love. XD He's just so much fun! Aww... I have a drawing of him that I never finished...

I don't play Legacy (no GBA!), but if anyone else plays the GBC games...

Silver Zero I heavily favor:
Jäger, since it's got the least useless of the special attacks for when I can't reach a flyer with my teeth. And one of the color variations is white/pink/gunmetal, which looks really cool.
Salamander. <3 Salamander in that game, so very much. It's sturdy and can carry a lot of weapons, making it one of the only fliers that can take advantage of their "no physical attacks from ground Zoids can hit meee" bonus without crumpling when hit by guns.

Honorable mention to Death Stinger for practically carrying me through the underwater dungeon, Gilvader for having an awesome attack animation, and Super Geno Saurer for actually being a cool Genothingy until Saga mucked it up.

JF I'm still working out end movesets, but I like Gilvader, Gunbluster, Iguan, Kingbaron, Dark Horn, Saidozer, Command Wolf, and Shieldy Mk.II. Mostly blades and big guns, in other words, because those are the best things to carry in the game if you want to hit hard and fast.

Sporky the Command Wolf has a moveset that started out with me giving him a Perigrine Sword (what that is besides sharp, I dunno) O'Connell gave me, too. He's ended up with enough pointy to make a Sword Wolf get blade envy, even if his moveset's a bit silly.

Say did you guys know there was a Zoids game for the Commodore 64!! The best part is that it was released in the us on the same year that I was born. ^_^ Or so it's what gamefaqs have written down. lol

I'd love to play the other Zoids Gameboy games, but asides from being able to read stuff like, 「オコーネル」 I'd probably be rather stuck. x_x;; Legacy is fun though for all it's cheesiness.

I think I heard of the Commodore 64 game before, but it's been so long that I forgot. XD That's cool though! For some reason I think I have some music from it... hmm...

There's some really fun remixes of the theme out there:

My recommendations are the Arabian, Imperial March, Prototype Mix (the Slow Poison one), and the one just titled Zoids by o2. They're the ones that get to be on both my main playlist and my Zoids one...

The Arabian one eats BRAINS.

Oh noes. XD I got the Arabian one... it's ok. I think my favorite is still the "Scenario of War" one. I don't remember where I got that one, I got it years ago. Probably from Napster or something. But in anycase, Scenario of War FTW!

I still can't believe how many remixes there are of that one tune. XD

I hate playing games on my compy...I'm going that route for making a walkthrough and I keep getting all wantmygameboynowplease.

The only good thing is being able to hold the spacebar down instead of twiddling my thumbs while the enemy Zoid swarms take their turn attacking.

I want to play the old NES games too and see what they have in terms of plot and such, but the odds of me finding a NES that'd play them that I could use are...not good >_>.
