nekopeny the_nameless_1 yes it is but that is the reason so u dont think that is wrong, wouldnt you rather see a guy and a girl go'n at it? yaoi more intresting i gess and theres still in our society a feeling of taboo, hent (guygirl) just seems so ordernaly and kinda dull as you see it so offten. yaoi is just more fun (and hot!!) agree

I think girls like yaoi because its something you don't get here in mainstream america. Like...anything gay here is strictly taboo or othewise poked at with a stick of bigotry.
On the more common sense, and blunt side, its two guys for the price of one...who wouldn't be happy sweatdrop

There is Het, Yaoi, and Yuri. Personalie I like it all, some more than others. I know this isn't a good arguement, but some guys like Yuri and some guys like Yaoi. Same for girls. Some girls like Yaoi, and some like yuri. Some people just like Het. This really isn't a good reason, but truthfully, there really is no reason. This question is like why the sky is blue. I couldn't live with out air, I couldn't live with out Yaoi...well I could, but thats besides the point.

Well since I'm a girl I don't tend to feel sexual attraction to girls...but when two guys are together its all hot sexy man stuffs..y'know...they got stuff that I like...and since its two guys its double the fun biggrin
also...I only find anime guys sexy...If I see two real life guys kissing its like so what?...but two anime guys kissing... blaugh blaugh blaugh Actually I take that back...I find asian men totally sexy...my boyfriend is asian...other than that...yeah...god I'm a confusing person...

Well, I'm not a big fan of SERIOUS yaoi. I don't have a problem with it, but I don't go nuts over it. I like cute yaoi that kinda implies it, or just shows love, not actual "love".

Well because Iwe like sex and I'm/were a pervert 3nodding ................. xd Just Kidding, I just like the art and the storylines better. Who wants to read the same shojo story over and over again were a girl falls in love and meets the guy of her dream Happy ending ( I have nothing against shojo manga). It can involve many types of love too. I just find yaoi more appealing, but it's just a personal opinion on why people read yaoi. I can guess mosly because it involes boyXboy stuff and that's why girls like it . Also the charaters are pretty-ful *drowls*.
*note: I am a pervert, appartently to my freind on gaia ninja

I read an interesting article posted in the AMC forum a while back. It said something about fantasizing. It's easier to adore yaoi for the plots and romance because it's two guys. If if was a guy and a girl, us girls might constantly think, "I want to be in her place," but if it's a another guy, we're less likely to want to replace the guy in any of our fantasies. It's against most rules of society, the uke is adorable and most of the time clueless, and since it's between two guys, it feels like a more special relationship. And us girls don't want to break that apart, right?
Guy and girl = easier to cut one or the other out of the picture
Guy and guy = awwww :3
Okay, but what about girl and girl. It's simple. Yaoi and yuri and hetero couplings are all beautiful things. I think that yoai is just....well...to begin with, what you asked is a stupid question. I as a girl, don't simply like yaoi or yuri, but I love because it's the beauty of life. I don't think anything aobut it is funny, or HAWT, and I don't understand why other people think that this stuff doesn't really happen.
