 "Well, I haven't seen monsters. But I've been mostly engrossed in my book, so it's possible they've been lurking around without me noticing." She tilted her head slightly. "The sounds are more like ... swooshing sounds. And sometimes clicking. And squishsquishsquish." She looked at Sora and smirked a bit. "Ever fight anything that went squishsquishsquish, oh adventurous hero?" Her tail swished a bit; it seemed like she was having fun now.

"Swoosh? Click? Squishsquishsquish?" All these sounds Larxene described made Sora's head hurt. What could make those sounds. ...well he knew of one thing. But he hoped it wasn't that. "There was one thing...it wasn't too nice. It ate my friend who was a puppet." Another one of those things normal people would find odd, but for Sora is just rolled off his tongue. "It had these tentacles, and this weird belly that was like a cage, and it was all SKREEEEEE! So I hit it with my keyblades and shot it with some magic and it went away." Descriptiveness wasn't Sora's strong suit.

"It ... it ate your friend, who was a puppet? How was your friend a puppet?" Larxene tipped her head to one side. "You mean figuratively? You were controlling him? Or ... someone was? And you kept him in a cage?" She seemed interested in this, rather than disturbed, which was likely, in and of itself, a bit disturbing.

"Yup! Ate him right up!" Sora smiled a bit, he enjoyed telling his story, in an odd sort of way. "...what do you mean, how was he a puppet? He was made of wood, a real puppet! But he walked and talked, and he had a dad too. His dad wasn't a puppet though."
Sora tilted his head a curiously. "Why would I control anyone? And he wasn't the kind of puppet you could control anyways. Well except his conscience, his conscience is a cricket with a top hat and an umbrella and he likes to log things in journals. I traveled around with him for a looong time before I met the puppet."
His ears perked when the word 'cage' reached his ears. "Nonono! The cage was the monster! With the tentacles! That went SKREEEEEE!"

"He was made of wood? You know someone made of wood?" Larxene looked at him incredulously. Wait, does that mean he was really inside a book? She walked along quietly for a moment, listening to the rest of his description. Cricket with a top hat ... living wooden puppet.
"You .. seem to have led a very interesting life, Sora. Especially for being so young. I sort of thought you were just being, erm, creative before. What other kinds of monsters have your fought against?"

"Yup! Made of wood! And when he lied, his nose grew, and sometimes it got twigs and branches and junk on it when he lied enough." Sora tilted his head at her look. She didn't believe him? It's not like he would lie about something like this.
Laughing and smiling Sora put his arms behind his head. "I kinda have! It's been really fun. Every day something new, someone cool to meet, just really fun stuff!" Sora blinked at the young comment. "I'm not young! ...well not anymore I'm not!" The more Larxene talked the more it confused him. "Creative? No, this stuff really happened! And I've fought hundreds of kinds of monsters. There were these things, called heartless, there are so many kinds it makes my head hurt thinking about them all. Then there were the nobodies." Sora felt unexplainably sad at this point. "There were just normal nobodies...then there were those who looked like people. They were really people, just without their hearts. I..." He paused and tried to calm himself down a bit. "I really didn't like fighting them. They weren't evil. They weren't monsters. They just needed kindness."

Larxene frowned a bit as he described the heartless and the nobodies. Something in the back of her memory tingled again, but only for a moment. The girl's forehead furrowed as she mentally grasped at it, but the strands of memory slipped away again. After a moment she sighed and shook her head. Something about all of that seemed so familiar somehow, and yet the closer she got to actually catching those memories, the more she felt that she didn't want to.
"I believe you. No one could make all of that up. Not so easily anyway." She paused, a smile growing on her face again. "Well, maybe a crazy person could. But you don't strike me as a crazy person. Just a young one," she teased, flicking him playfully with her tail.

As Larxene frowned Sora did as well. He felt slightly uncomfortable talking about it to her for some reason. "I'm sorry I brought that up." He muttered this under his breath, half hoping she didn't hear him.
"You really believe me?! Great! You have no idea how many people didn't believe me. Even though a lot of them saw what was going on. I think they just blocked it all out. That's not fun." His smile returned as Larxene's did. He liked it when she smiled. Then that 'young' word came up again. "I said I'm not young anymore! I was, but I grew up!" As her tail flicked him, one of his ears tilted. Confused by her? Maybe. Willing to do whatever it takes to find out more about her? Definatly.

Larxene giggled a bit, then looked almost surprised that she'd done so. She eyed Sora a long moment, smirking slightly, then nodded. "Okay. Okay, maaaaybe you're not so young. If you've done all that adventuring and fighting, you must be at least a little grown up." The girl was clearly having a good time teasing him; it would likely have been obvious (even to Sora) she didn't really think he was 'just a kid'.
"So," she said, looking up and down the aisles. "Which way looks most interesting?"

Sora's smiled shone brightly. "Yeah I'm not young! ... wait what do you mean a little!?" Sora couldn't help but laugh. At this point it was more than obvious that she was toying with him. But that was alright, that was part of the fun. If you couldn't get along with someone well enough to tease them a little, then you weren't really much of friends.
Pausing, he looked around. Which way to go, which -way- to go. "Well. We could go down that dark spooky path. We could go down the well lit path. Or we could keep going the way we are." Pointing out each one as he went along. He knew which one he wanted to go down. "Want to try the spooky one?"

"Always," Larxene replied, grinning impishly again. "You meet more interesting people when you take more interesting paths, don't you think?" She stepped off merrily down the dark parth, not seeming intimidated in the least by the shadows.
"So those weapons you had? The ... big key looking things. Erm, so, where do they come from? I mean, it kinda looked like they came out of thin air there. But ... they couldn't do that, right?" She eyed Sora sidelong, wondering if he had a better explanation for this than the other she'd met with the ability.

Raising his brow at Larxene's first comment, Sora replied under his breath. "More than you could ever know." She probably heard him. But he didn't want to explain why he had said this just yet.
"You mean my keyblades? Uh...I really have no idea where they come from. I just kind of summon them and they appear." He smiled. "I don't wanna question it, they might not come next time I call for them if I do." With ears twitching, Sora pondered. "Is there something wrong with my keyblades?" He asked. He wasn't sure what made her bring them up, despite the fact that they are kind of weird.

"No, nothing wrong with them," Larxene said, shaking her head. "It's just, I met someone a while ago who could do the same thing. He didn't seem to understand where they came from or what they really were, though. It just kinda appeared when I zapped his a.... um ... " She trailed off a moment. Normally, the girl wouldn't have felt bad admitting that she'd been poking at Riku to judge his response, but somehow she wasn't sure Sora would understand the reasoning she'd had. "They, uh, just appeared when he felt threatened," she finished lamely. "I was wondering how that worked."

Sora thought for a moment. Someone else who could summon a keyblade? Who could-...no way. Was he here too?! It must be him, it could only be him. But it seemed Larxene and Riku hadn't met on good terms. Maybe ignoring Riku's presense was a good idea for now. Laughing nerviously. "O-oh, I see." Sora felt embarrassed, he would refrain from summoning his keyblades for a while. "Well I'm sure whoever it was didn't mean you any harm."
Thinking about what has happened up until now made Sora worry. It looks like everyone here had forgotten something. Maybe Riku had the same thing happen to him...that wouldn't be good for anyone.
Sora snapped out of his daze, realizing Larxene was still talking. Feeling stupid that he zoned out again he hung his head slightly. "Well when I need them, I just kind of call out to them with my mind and they appear."

Larxene glanced over at the slightly delayed reaction, noticing Sora's concerned expression. "That must be a handy weapon to have. Although I guess it's not that different than this," she said, holding her hand up and making her fingers crackle again. "That sort of comes out of nowhere. I guess we're not so different."
She paused, eyeing him a moment. "Do you know other people who can summon those ... keyblades? Is that kind of thing common where you come from?"
