It's pretty simple, actually.
If your role is "GCDer", all you have to do is vote for someone in the voting thread each round when the game starts. ^^
You usually vote in this format:
#__ (Your username) votes for #__ (Username of the person you're voting for).
So, for example:
#11 Inasanemonkey1230 votes for #33 Scelero.
That's just an example vote, though. ^^

I'm confused on how when I get picked to be a person, or how I even get 'quallified' to be a contestant, what do I do after that? After I get picked.

There will be sign-ups soon. ^^
That's how you enter the game.
After sign-ups are done, the GM will RNG for the positions, and PM those with a special one.
After the game officially starts, if you're a regular GCDer, all you do is vote.

Well you don't get to pick, it's picked randomly at the start of the game what each player's role is. However the odds of being a GCDer are 95% so...yeah

and it's not that much more difficult. Each of the roles only has one more task. Which is usually just sending the GM a name

This game sounds EXACTLY like the game of Mafia!! If someone can reference the sniper game to the Mafia game, that'd be great. That way I can understand it @____@

Sniper/CK = Mafia members
G Team = Gardian Angel
Newsreporter =?= Detective
the differences are that the killers don't know who the other killers are, and each one makes their own kill. Making 2 deaths a day instead of one
and the Newsreporter instead just receives clues about who the killers are, instead of asking about a particular person and getting a confirmed answer from the GM
...and I apologize if the Mafia version I play is completely different >.>

You said that if people miss 3 votings in a row or 5 all together, they will be... uhm, how did you put it... I don't remember, but they'll not be counted as a player for the rest of the game. They can always rejoin again correct? After the current game ends?
