Mari looked towards Matt as he spoke with Vinsa. She wanted to hear what he had to say. "How does it remind you of them?" Vinsa was curious and it was apparent.

well i mean they take people and turn them into one of them. i'm not entirly sure how the process goes but from what i seen, those spikes seem awfully a lot like the ones they have. and that one night fiend did attempt to turn you into one.
*looks back at the doctor questionly* ever heard of night fiends?

"No, I haven't. But you did say that they can turn others into them, didn't you? If that be the case, Mari's allergy doesn't have anything to do with her turning into one. It has all to do with the dark energy she's around. Though, I'm not saying that they can't turn her into one, but from what I hear they can turn anyone into one. Even me. Even you." Vinsa did write some notes down. Especially what they were called. He was going to look into this and read about them. Try to find out more about them.

Vinsa just kept writing and looked at Mari. "Anything else you needed to talk about while you were here?" Mari shook her head and got up from the table. "No. Nothing really." Vinsa tore a piece of paper from his clipboard and gave it to her. "This is your next appointment. This one's a physical, though, so leave the man at home." He got up and then nodded towards Smash. "Very nice meeting you." Without another word he walked out of the room and left them there.
