His words caused her light gray cheeks to flush raspberry unintentionally. Swiveling her ears she felt a sort of happiness as she gazed at him with those striking orange eyes flickering in the sunlight.
She faltered for a bit in her thoughts before she blinked at him. "Friends? One at the most Glory be Kimi friend. Waya is friend too." she nodded wondering why her cheeks were warmer than usual.
She smiled nuding him out of playfulness wondering what he was thinking just now. Funny to ask another how they were feeling.

ohmygod, rein's soquili bebe looks just liker her mother! <3 4laugh
'I dont believe i know them." He chuckled. "But there are just too much soquilis to count anyways~" Kail said, in a care free way as he glanced at the soquilis around him. "Is it just me or has this place grown even more crowded..?" Eying the crowded area more closely. "I dont remember them from yesterday.." Frowning. Crowds werent his sort of thing.
"Well.. It cant be helped." As he shrugged it off. "Do you have any siblings Kimi?" Kail had sibling but everyone in his family seemed seperated since birth. "
I have two others. A sister and a brother. But my little brother has wings so im a little jealous." He admitted. "Im closer to my sister than the rest of my family but even than, we're barely close as it is.' As he gave off a little laugh. 'But if you dont know someone that well, you cant miss 'em~"

"Siblings Kimi has no more." she said with a frown "Celendria Herd Kimi family." Her eyes met the ground but still held a smile when she returned her gaze to him. "Wow so many siblings Kail has yes? Kail quite lucky." she beamed nodding her head toward him.
She watched his gaze of uncertainy tilting her head. Crowded he had said in a way of miserableness. She didn't like seeing Kail sad not one bit.
Raising her head she perked her ears. "Kail feel no sadness with Kimi. Walk we go away where quiet?" she queried smiling warmly at him flicking her long striped tail back and forth.

"Haha~ Not that lucky!" As he chuckled over Kimi's excitement."BEsides, it's not really any fun having sibling if you dont know em." He murmered, as he glanced at the sky. Had Kail really been out for so long? A little strange.
'Im okay Kimi. Im just not used to them is all." He reassured her, But if you want to go somewhere else it's fine with me." A warm smile spread on his face.
"You know.. Kimi. We've only been friends for a short while but i feel as if i already know you~ Maybe a younger sister?' He felt embarassed to say. The chatter of the other soquilis, interrupted his thoughts but it reminded Kail very strongly of when he was a foal .. A child's innocence.

She laughed with a stomp of her hoof then blushed horribly. Kail seemed more to her than a mere friend and she loved the attention. "Big Brother Kail of Kimi?" she snickered and giggled yet again, "Kimi say more than that.. hee hee.." she mused butting his shoulder.
"Tag Kail it."
The little lemur mare took off tearing up away from the hustle and bustle of the village. Her heart beat so fast her breath exhaled ridged and unbalanced in her running. Had she really said what she thought she said?
She pondered still running hoping that he was following. The little lemur colored mare loved to run, but she especially loved the company she was keeping.

"Hm..?" As he was a bit surprised at hearing Kimi's last words before she flew off. What.. did she mean by that? .. Well, he could always ask her. Her face was terribly red though.. Maybe from the sun?
Watching Kimi run off, he just stared for a few moments trying to register his thoughts. Suddenly chasing after her "Why.. are we running now?" He yelled with a chuckle. Kimi sure had some random moods~

Kimi noticed him pulling closer causing her to bluss like a filly in silly foal games. the olde ways of likng someone was to run far away and keep them guessing. She giggled to herself pounding the ground still blushing. The tall tall trees came back to her along with the rythem of Big Blue in the distance.
Let time repeat itself to a better day.
She looked back at him and smiled finally slowling down when the villiage was a meer speck and the quietness enveloped the surrounding area save for the chirping birds and occasional breeze ruffling the grasses. "Why? Hmm Kimi as Kimiself that too. But Kail think better now no busy around him yes?" she asked with a smile watching him with bright orange eyes.

"Hahahaa~ Your a sneaky sneaky little girl!" As he tugged on Kimi's mane. "You didnt have to do that. I was perfectly fine over with the other soquilis~" He reassured Kimi. She really was considerate of others. That was good trait for any soquili, if they wanted to be well-liked. Huh~
"The ocean is amazing.. dont you think?" As he noticed where Kimi had lead him to. "I hear salt water is good for curing a lame leg of a soquili.. or something like that." He had the feeling he phrased it wrong. "What do you think..?~" A wierd subject yes, but it couldnt hurt just to talk about it. Those little tid bits of information here and there was quite interesting.. well. Some were useful and some werent.. but it was always fun.

Her breath exhaled sharply seeing the wide ocean lay stretched out in a ribbon of never ending blue. "Big Blue." she breathed outward with wide eyes. Though a different stretch than her homeland the ocean was always the same. Turning over her sholuder she saw the tall Sequiyas and pine with the other set trees reaching into a perfectioned forest.
Feeling a tug on her mane she blushed.
"Remedy legs is yes good. Salt cure Kimi leg when sore. Very little Kimi foalie" she nodded watching him with thoughtful eyes now that the ocean was just part of the scenery. She had done well letting her memories fleet away. The thing now was making sure Kail was happy being there.
"Pretty Big Blue. Pretty blue with Kimi and Kail." she chimed swaying back and forth before she lipped his shoulder with her muzzle.

As he nipped at Kimi playfully, alot had been on his mind for a few days now. For some odd reason, he felt an urge to see his brother and sister. He remembered how his sister used to be as playful as Kimi~ And he felt the urge to be competitive with his brother.. Well. Losing would suck if he did indeed lost.
But suddenly Kail became awkward. For the past few days, Kimi had been acting very oddly towards him.. that no other soquili had. It could have been just how Kimi usually acted.. But he had seen her pull towards him only to stop.. and her cheeks turned pink alot~ It might have been just a stupid idea but it wanted to make itself known.
Turning around, he stared at Kimi in the eyes... "Kimi.. Please dont think anything of this question, if it's not true.. but would.. you.. happen to have any feelings for me?" As he turned his head away quickly, embarassed at the suggestion he made.

Though the eyes of the little mare were orange against the contrast of sand and water they sparkled with her interest in watching those deep crashing waves. Content and overjoyed that her ill memory of feelings weren't plaging her mind nor spirit anymore. Now only simple serene images danced in her head whispering why her fate had brought her to this land bringing chance to meet someone she held wonderful emotions for like flitting little fireflies dancing in the still black canvas of the night.
She turned to watch his expressions paying attention to wonder what he was thinking as her mane and striped tail blew about in the ocean's sweet breeze.
His query though smacked her litterally in the chest caught offguard she blushed redder than the deepest colored raspberry. Cheeks appearing to burn with her secret she was hiding in her own silly dreams as they ran side by side in the past few hours.
She was speecless for a moment letting that heat rise in her embarrassment. She must of let her secret leak out and now had to face the piper. But what would he return if she said yes? Would he think her a child like Shaylee naive and non understanding to what was going on. Or was it the opposite where he felt the same way as she did about him? So many avenues of opportunity stood in her direction with pros and cons.
Taking a deep breath she threw caution to the wind and murmered but one simple word quietly but vocal so he could hear her.
"Yes."

Surprised and shocked, he awkwardly turned away avoiding eye contact. He should have expected this would have happened somewhere in his lifetime.. But he didnt. He had always busied himself with exploring that .. love had not occurred to him until now.
It was true, that in the short time they had met.. It seemed Kimi and himself had become good firends.. Although he tried his best to maintain good relations with everyone if possible. He had only dropped in this part of the lands because.. well, he hated to admit, but because of Suri.
He wasnt anything special. Kimi was indeed a gorgeous soquili, and she deserved better. "Are you sure Kimi..? I mean.. I'm not anything special." He murmered softly. "You actually deserve someone better than who would just rather go exploring all day, instead of staying in one place." Afterall, It was inevitable that he would be gone before she knew it. Kail really was like the wing... You could never hold it, because it would be gone before you knew it.

Her eyes widened like saucers hearing degration of himself in his familiar voice. She frowned facing him as her milky white gray colored fur blushed deeply red in her cheeks. She whickered softly leaning over to nudge him with her smile still painted gently across her muzzle.
"Kimi traveled a long way to get here. Kimi lost everything near and dear to her. But Kimi learned there's more... more to be and understand. And Kimi found something that Kimi believes in. Kimi wants to stay by Kail's side. If not too much Kimi make visits home now and then. Kimi knows where she finally belongs."
She took a deep breath as her orange orbs shined with forming tears causing them to glisten as she spoke once more.
"Kail is wonderful nice to Kimi. Kail has little Suri, and Mom Suri for family. Kimi wants to have a family like Kail. Kimi want to feel wanted and loved.
Because... even though Kail feels he is not special... Kimi thinks he is... Kail makes Kimi's heart go bump bump. Because... Kail is wonderful and ..." she paused with tears that streamed from those bright orange eyes of hers as now deep raspberry colored cheeks faced him.
"Because... Kimi knows... she loves Kail"!

Looking at her tearful eyes, he moved away slightly. "I just need time to think. Okay Kimi?" As he nudged her a bit playfully. "Howzabout we walk abck to the village for now?~" As he headed into the general direction of the village they had come from awhile ago.

As if ice was poured down her back the lemur mare looked almost as in shock yet she remained quiet with a simple nod. Perhaps it was her previous loss on the island of family and friends or the simple longing of wanting to be loved in return. Whatever the case she was feeling as if her words were simply speaking for themselves. Head hung in a lower than normal posistion she began walking by his side occasionally grazing now and then.
What had seemed like heartbreak melted completely back to the Kimi Kail knew full of vigor and playfulness.
Perking her ears she nudged him back with a smile holding some deep thought in her chest. She had said what her heart wanted her to. This was life and if he choose her heart or not so was fate to decide where their bond would lie. Eager to see little Suri her head bobbed back and forth eagerly.
"Kimi want to see little Suri again." she called happily swinging her head back and forth with a little dance to her rythem as the long gorgeous striped tail swung back and forth in wisping sounds.
