Blah, spoilers.
No Naruto, Sai, or Sakura this time around.. but Kurenai is shown toward the end of the chapter, so maybe that means we'll get to see Hinata and the others in 314.
I happen to like the dialogue between Kakuzu and Hidan. Some parts made me laugh.
Hidan: Ha..? What do you mean kill?
You're still going to be knocked out despite trying to be so enthusiastic..
Now I'm irritated.
And.. when I'm irritated, blood rushes to my head.
And when blood rushes to my head --
Kakuzu: Shut up, Hidan, shut up!
And then of course this part..
Hidan: Looks like I'm but a mouse in a mousetrap.
Ku ku..
I shouldn't laugh..
They're amusing. I like them so far.
My main problem with this chapter: WHY THE HELL was Yugito defeated so easily!? So much for kickass girl power. GAH.
Also, it seems as though Hidan and Kakuzu's next target is the Fire Country.. meaning Naruto, right? I thought he was Itachi and Kisame's Jinchuuriki, not theirs! I want to see Itachi and Kisame again, dammit.

Then we have some Asuma x Kurenai! =O But the conversation was cut off. :C I wonder what it was about.
xD I hope Kakashi doesn't feel too rejected. Everyone is throwing off his groove.
And no Sai, Sakura, or Naruto. Or Team 10 & 8. D: I was looking forward to some more SaiIno!

And Hidan and Kakuzu seem to be coming for Naruto. What happened to Itachi and Kisame?! I want them, not these two weirdos. >> Gah.

Anyways, Hidan likes to talk.. a lot. xD And Yugito! *ouch.. her hands* She seemed so strong. I'm hoping she's still alive in some strange way. She was so confident in herself and she claimed to be the second best in her village. It's hard to believe that she died so easily and quickly. I'm hoping it's not the end of her.
And Asuma. HIM. Kurenai comes in and suddenly he doesn't want to talk. I want to know what he was going to say. D:

Chapter 313:
Hidan and Kakuzu. Oh god. I love them already. heart The part where Hidan started talking about the precepts of Buddhism threw me off. xd Ha. And he wouldn't stop talking. I love how irritated Kakuzu was getting. xd
Anyway. I rather enjoyed this chapter, even if our main characters weren't in it. I was a bit disappointed at how easily Yugito was defeated. But eh, I guess for Kishimoto, females are always "easy come easy go." >_>
Then next target for the new Akatsuki duo is most probably Naruto. Get on that training Naruto!

Chapter 314 thoughts: Zetsu pops out of nowhere.. and I'm assuming that girl isn't dead yet since he said that he would take care of her.
I didn't know the Akatsuki got paid. o_o Seriously, I didn't. If they mentioned that before, I must've skimmed right over it, because that's a new one to me.

While I haven't read the new chapter yet, I was able to catch on page of it.
Didn't Asuma say something along the lines of "you were a good old man"?

Or maybe Asuma is just hiding Konohamaru, his illegitimate son, from Kurenai! Maybe that's what he wants to tell Kakashi!
Oh woe.
I need to read the new chapter. DADDY Asuma is the last thing I expected. Dx
Though, I'm probably jumping the gun.

It probably means the same thing as "You were an awesome father". If Konohamaru is Asuma's son then that means the Asuma x Kurenai ship might get.. complicated. o_o
I think Akatsuki is going to invaded Konoha soon since the next chapter is called "Urgent Message". So Kakashi needs to train Naruto fast. >_>

Well, nothing TOO big in this chapter I find. x.x I mean, I think Kakuzu is into money, and what the hell is up with the monks? They keep sidetracking from the main story. But I think that scene had something to do with Asuma, being himself and the leader monk had that loincloth.
Anyways, on to the training! It was only Naruto and Kakashi, so I assume that Sakura is going to be doing more training with Tsunade. Sai is...nowhere that we know. So, Kakashi says that Naruto can make a powerful attack by changing the shape and nature of his chakra. I didn't really understand it, but it'll probably make more sense in other translations and everything. But RIGHT before Kakashi tells him how to do it in short time, they switch to ASUMA.
Asuma is turning into a popular character. gonk I dun like that too much. Anyways, it seems he's at the memorial for the Third Hokage. He talks about being in the Sarutobi clan. He says something like, "You were a great dad, old man." So does this mean that Asuma is Third Hokage's son? =O And Konohamaru is Asuma's son? >> Theories...therories...I'm curious! But I also want more Naruto, Kakashi, Sakura, and Sai. gonk Not Asuma and monks and Kakuzu and Hidan (though they are just amusing. xD)
And Zetsu appears too! But not much from him. D:

xd Haha. I saw monks at the Discovery Channel store in Houston! I wanted to take a picture with them SO bad, but my parents said no because they were talking in a different language and they might think I'm crazy.
