Vincent_Fenrir
Could I be a Drow Druid?

Sure, but he/she will have to be from the surface... because that's the only way they would be about to learn how to be a druid. And don't forget about the ECL... if you don't mind that, then I have no problem with it ^_^

Have you played D&D before? More importantly, have you played in the Forgotten Realms before?

Well, you are welcome to try... this isn't a nice adventure though... so there are nasty undead and outsiders. I'd suggest not trying a new class, but something you already know. Starting level is tenth... if you want to play an ecl race, then just adjust accordingly and we can discuss it more when you're character is done.

The normal style of rolling is to roll 4d6, and then drop the lowest one.

well, there's always the "hopeless" rule. If the total of your modifiers is +0 or below, then you can reroll the character. That means like, say you have a +2, 0, -1, 0, -1, 0. You can reroll the character. But that's a pretty badly rolled character. Even the worst rolls I've seen usually end up with at least a total of +1 or more heh.

Yeah, I've never seen that rule actually come into play...

Ah ha... but it is my game, house rules for stats... which I thought I put up already, but I guess I didn't. Roll 4d6, drop the lowest, reroll any ones and twos. I find that usually make a playable character for CotSQ. DarkH, I rolled stats for my character I'm going to play in Search for Adventure with a net -2! I rerolled them lol...

Character wealth at levels higher than one has a set number. It's on a chart in the DMG, though of course this is only if the DM decides to use it. Obviously the DM can decide that you only get 100 gold if they want...but I mean...eww, a 10th level adventurer who only has 100 gold worth of equipment is...well...poor. Of course, they could be starting the campaign under circumstances which make sense (you lost all your equipment and were given some very basic equipment for example).

Hit Points are just rolled. First Level is usually max HP (I don't know if it's actually in the DMs guide, but everyone I've played with has done it that way). Then after that, you just roll your hit die+con mod. So at 10, you'd be rolling 9 dice.

10th level wealth is 49,000 gold by the way

As an archery-specialized ranger, you don't need to do much besides stay back and shoot the right targets (whoever is the biggest threat). However, instead of the feats you've chosen (actually, you've only chosen 2 when you really should have 4), I would choose Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Improved Rapid Shot, and Improved Critical (Longbow). These feats will make you the best archer you can be. Here's how they help: Point Blank Shot is useful because you get +1 on your attack and damage rolls with ranged weapons when attacking a creature within 30 feet of you. Its also the base archery feat that you need to get any of the others. Precise shot is pretty much necessary, otherwise you'll have a -4 penalty on shooting any enemy that is engaged in melee combat with another creature (i.e. one of your party members). Improved Rapid Shot (From the Complete Warrior) allows you to use the rapid shot option without the -2 penalty to all attacks in that round. Finally, Improved Critical (Longbow) will increase the threat range of getting a critical with a longbow or composite longbow to 19-20, x3.

As for magic, check out this page here.
It's a compliation of all the official ranger spells from all the official sources. I don't have enough time to go through and find out which spells are the best, but look for the ones that help you with ranged attacks (exacting shot looks good for fighting your favored enemies).
