because I've been in the feedback forum for a while reading people's bitches about the layout and many include a nice "AHHH MY EYES!' paragraph.
Also much complaining about the logo
and the crappy sized avi.
The latter is the only thing I'm pissed about
otherwise I don't care

i don't see how you can call them childish for making it though. sense of humour maybe but not childish.
if anything its the users runnning around with complaints since the last layout had a goddam lot of white on it aswell... we've only lost a blue strip on the side if you think about it.
i don't care about the small avi as i'm the only one who see's it. the forum ones are the same size.
i think they should all be grateful there even is a site AND the gaia crew doesn't take all the complaining to heart - since they're joking about it.

I don't take the emotes as a joke. I think it's just a childish way of saying 'nyeh! We hate you too!'
You know, some of the essays about why people hate the new layout are interesting, I can see where they're coming from. Also, I think that the fact that the feedback sticky is now 900 pages long still no word from the crew apart from the charming emoticons such as the wahmblulance and the fecking stereotypical emo shiticon (Had a stressful week- it comes out in me swearing every two words- can you tell?) is a bit telling.
And I -want- to see myself.

and i still think you don't have any need to just call them childish because they made them.
that's what pissed me off right there. i don't think you have a good enough reason to back it up and it is a bit nitpicky.

I have plenty of reason to call them childish for doing so. If you don't agree with my reasons that's ok.
