Interests/Hobbies:
Computer Science, Science Fiction Novels, Anime, Video Games, things of that nature.
How long you have been RPing for:
3 years, went for 2 on Ayenee (yahoo chat), and one on furcadia, off and on.
Also have tried to start several billboard/pen-paper rpgs on the net, with little/no success.
Do you RP anywhere other than Gaia? If so, where:
Currently, just here and Furcadia on rare occasions, since ayenee has completely died.
Why type of RPs you prefer:
Generally, Either Fantasy/Medeival or Fantasy/Modern, though i am open to try anything new.
And whatever else:
Just clarifying what i seemed to get ragged on alot on my application...i dont sacrifice detail, i just refuse to type more than whats necessary to give a perfect picture of the scene. Long experiences with people in other areas of rp have led to an utter distaste of people who think that in order to be a good post, it has to be 3 pages, and describe their characters thoughts feelings and entire history while theyre walking into a room >.>

My gaia name is blackfox_industries, just in case your too lazy to look up at my name in the post, my freinds call me Zeek, a name which has a long and embarrasing story that i'd rather not go through.
I have quite a few hobbies, I spend a lot of time in my freinds basement playing advanced d&d, warhammer 40k, and generally shooting the geek s**t. I also do a lot of drawing and other various art, but I don't know if you can consider that a hobby, because I am going to college for it.
I don't really know what else to put, but his sentence seems to make it look like I have a lot to say, So I'll stretch it out a ways.

close to 4 years...
1st started in neopets, then moved to avidgamers (Balicia etc.), then to communityzero (The Peaceful Warrior Inn and a few Wolf rp groups), then proboards (Land of Mystics etc), then invisionfree.. (Lidelas, Tarasto and many more), then... to everbane.net (now quite dead, i think) ^^ .. I really jumped from place to place. Never really settled down.. >.o Hope I can settle nicely here : D


Do you RP anywhere other than Gaia? If so, where:
Currently no. Most of the places I came from are dead. Neopets are also swarmed with despies and dastardly newbies (the last time I saw)

Why type of RPs you prefer:
Fantasy(Medieval) mainly. Although I have been considering to branch out to fantasy modern. ^^

And whatever else:
Let's see.. Actually well.. I am some one who comes from a part of Asia, and lives in Asia.. I know that most people here are either from the US and Europe.. I just hope that you wouldn't mind if I start asking questions about how life's like there and other weird stuff .. ; You see.. I'm planning to study in North America soon.. or maybe Europe.. So, perhaps I'd like to know from the rest how it's like ^^; I hope I won't be a huge bother..

Also, I have a phobia for introductory descriptions with plots in them o.o From the places I have been, this is the first time I have seen this kind of introductions... O.o , so I was quite freaked out when I first went around Gaia.. and I still am.

My rp posts can also be quite long sometimes.. The last place I came from (at least about third last or something) - Everbane.. It focused alot on both length and content.. So.. I was more or less affected.. People there are quite length crazy sometimes o.0 , at least some. I rped with some one who passed me the length disease.. and I have not been cured yet so far..

One more thing.. ; I have a tendency to use and excess of smilies.. so.. well... just tell me if you get annoyed..

And there I go again, using the first line of Herman Melville's classic. Man, I'm such a dork. Anywho, just place "Leanne" in place of "Ishmael", and we should be good -- since, Leanne is my name and all, guys. xd

I hope Mr. Melville will not be angry that I decided to change his writing a bit. Hm.

Anywho, I've been known as Annie for the most part. I get called Annie in "real life" (is it just me, or is calling it "real life" sound weird?) by family, some close friends, and my fellow Gaians. And as my very good friend has began to call me as of late: TEH GOOBIE.

I actually am not much of a writer. I took up writing last August, however, when the concept of roleplaying struck my fancy. I dallied around for a few months after that, experimenting, though I wasn't very good at it. But, as time went on, I developed myself, with the help of a friend who knew what she was doing. BECAUSE I SUCKED AT IT. LYKE TOTALLY, DOOD. (But, let's move on, shall we? xd heart )

Some things that could be considered my interests are: talking too much, roleplaying, reading, going to church, hanging out with friends, humorous moments or people, laughing, orange soda, loud people, surfing, listening to music and simultaneously singing to it with my horrible singing voice, chocolate chip mint icecream, baseball, and analyzing movie plots (I swear, this one started taking over after I began writing. I judge the plots, deciding if they were made well, or not. Too much time on my hands? I think so. o__o)

Sketching. One of my favorite things to do is draw. Since I was little, I've always loved it. I've one several prizes for my sketches, as well. Some included major monetary prizes, designing for large companies, or designing postcards that are sold in stores. Le kewl. :3

And...hm. Time for TEH RANDOMS.

I'm 17, born Sunday morning at 5:29am, February 14th, 1988. I'm 140lbs. I'm 5 feet and 8 inches tall. I have brown hair that extends to the shoulders. I have simple, brown eyes. I'm caucasian. I am almost 100% Swiss (RIEKOLLA!). And I have a job. I'm a waitress, by default (don't ask). I live in Oregon. Oh, yeah, and I have seven siblings. Eight, including me. WOOT? eek

The name's Arrien, Arri for you lazier peoples out there. ^^ I'm a life-long roleplayer, and I've been writing since the third grade. Don't claim to be absolutely devoted to learning more; I tend to pick things up as I go, and don't put any real effort into it. When I roleplay, I do it for the sake of having fun; not for self-improvement, at this point. Doesn't mean I don't try to get better, just that I don't put any conscious effort into it. 3nodding
