Several blurred wind blades streaked by Silver's body and literally cut the plant into ribbons of green material, as plant juice and bits dropped to the ground. Madi would land in a heap, as would Silver, along with his spear.

I hope you're happy Ryudo... Madi looks hurt...

Vargus looked to Ryudo and didn't look pleased. Ryudo on the other hand looked rather pleased.

There is no harm done here that you cannot repair with your skills Kobayashi. Moonblade was about to overcome the plant. Had you not interfered things still would have ended well.

I suppose you're wondering what Kobayashi and I were doing while you fought the plant. Well, I was testing you. There are many dangerous plants and animals here, some with resistance to magical and elemental abilities. That plant, the Angaran Creep Vine is one of the more dangerous and resistant examples of Angaran wildlife. That is not to say that there aren't more dangerous creatures out here, there are. However, you did well defending yourselves. And before you get offended, keep in mind that I was keeping a close watch on the whole process, and you were in no real danger.

Ryudo crossed his arms over his chest and stood still after finishing, as Vargus moved to heal Madi's light wounds.

Vargus finished healing Madi's wounds and took her asside for the time being.

Kobayashi acted on her own accord. I had complete control over the situation. I appologize for not catching Madison sooner.

I think that as the current "leader" of this little band, that I have a right to see if those following me are fit enough to handle themselves on their own against creatures and a place that they do not understand or know anything about incase we are somewhow separated...

Ryudo thought towards Silver. Damrius would obviously only hear the vocal portion of the conversation, the thoughts would go unheard by all but Silver.

Whatever... just stay outta my head, cretin. I've defeated you. That should be test enough.

Silver turned towards the rest of the group as he spoke.

"Yes. Lets go get cleaned up, and then head out to Presea."

And I've let you live how many times? Do not make me regret those decisions. You're still behind in "victories"...

Ryudo glanced at Silver as he spoke into his mind, and then turned to adress the group.

The sooner we get moving, the better. I'd like to reach Presea before sundown if at all possible.

We'll have to settle this argument in a rematch sometime later, then. Perhaps when we're back on the mainland. For now, I believe a truce is in order. we cannot be a sucessful group if we do nothing but bicker and argue.

He walked towards Presea as well, trying to make good time.

Damrius watched Both Ryudo and Silver. He guessed they were either having an argument, or both of them are just being silent. He knew of Ryudo's telepathy, but he also knew little to nothing of Silver.

Then again... We are walking, along a totally unknown terrain, to me and the others, excluding Ryudo and Vargus, at least... And there is a high chance we will get attacked by another plant, or worse.. So...

Damrius drew his sword, but wasted little energy to stay at an alert position. But, he also drew in some energy for the ready, just in case.

Damrius looked behind him as Madison Sneezed. That is when he smelt the blood. A distinct smell, something he had picked up on his own.

He slowed his pace, and sheithed the Vengeful. That is where he tore the sleeve off his shirt. He tore the shred in two peices, and spoke to madison.
