Sora just finishing paying and took his change back, glancing down at Is as she wrapped herself around his waist. His shirt was now on at least and he smiled softly at her. "I'm glad you liked it. It's always a pleasure to ink someone's body, even if I don't do it myself.' he laughed, putting an arm around her shoulders as he started to guide her out.
"Thanks again Issy for designing mine. A little part of you will always be with me now." He realized how corny that was and chuckled at himself. "I can't wait to show you what I changed. Well..." he took the sketch out of his pocket, wiggling the paper at her eye level. "Look if you want."

Is laughed at his statement and rested her head against him when he put his arm around her. When they were back out on the street, Is was doing her best to walk normally, she looked back up at him when he thanked her.
"Of course Sorakai. I was more than honored that you asked me to," she smiled up at him. When he held out the paper, she took it from him and inspected the small change. It looked like he had added the roman numeral nine.
"What on earth does nine have to do with anything?" she asked him.

"See that's where you're wrong my little Issy." He said as he smirked a bit. "You see it's not the number nine... But stands for two, and more importantly the two people that were able to capture my heart." He pointed first at the X, "The X stands for Xel, and the other..." He then pointed at the I. "Stands for Isreal. You of course silly."
He looked away with a little blush on his face. "Even though we're not together anymore you're still very much important to me. It makes me happy to know you're happy now. I'm more so glad you enjoyed today...."

Is looked back at the paper in confusion as Sora began to explain. When he pointed to the X and said Xel's name, her eyes immediately went to the I and she knew what it was for before he even said her name. Is stopped walking. She stared down at the paper for a long time, then looked back up at Sora. She glanced over to his left shoulder, knowing that on the other side was a tattoo that looked exactly like the desgin she held in her hands.
"Sora... you didn't.... Did you really?" she asked, looking up to his blue eyes.

Sora frowned when he took notice that Israel had stopped walking, he too then stopped to glance back at her. Well it was obvious, the change was a bit of a shock to her. "Issy?" He asked after a moment of her silence, then was a bit taken a back at her question. Had he really? Well... "Yea..." Came the honest answer, a small smile on his lips. "But no one will know what it means besides me, you and Xel when I tell him. Everyone else will think it's 9." He shrugged.
Turning around to fully face her, he smiled a little more. "I'll be honest with you Issy. You know how much you and Xel mean to me. I can't deny the feelings I have just because things didn't work out with us..." He paused. "Just because you don't like me that way anymore doesn't mean I can just forget about you." He spoke as he approached her, raising a hand to gently brush some hair out of her face again.
"You were my first for many things. My first kiss, my first love... and the first one I let get away. There is just something about you Israel that I will always be attracted to... I just wanted a little part of you and Xel with me all the time, what better way than that?" He said the last bit as he pulled his hand away to pat the area that was tattooed, only to wince after. Yeah it was sore...
"Issy..." he said as he sighed a bit. "I'm sorry if I just made you uncomfortable, or am about to... But I have to get this off my chest. I never had the courage to tell you before to your face, but I love you... So much so that I was able to let you go. As long as I see you happy I can be happy." Going silent for a minute he turned his eyes away and then sighed again.
"Come on..." He said as he glanced up at the sky. "It's late... I should get you back." Turning Sora started off with or without her, but kept the conversation going. "Though remember to keep that tattoo and piercing clean. Can't let it get infacted." He flashed her a smile, changing the topic of the conversation as best as he could.

The coward. The bloody coward. He had the nerve to tell her this now. Israel calmly refolded the piece of paper she held in her hand as Sora started to walk away again. She sniffed and slipped it into her pocket as tears started to roll down her cheeks and she slowly started to follow after him. This hurt so much more than anything else she had gone through. Reaching up to wipe away the tears, she tried her best to calm down. She didn't want to upset him.
"I'll remember," she said hoarsely.

It took him a moment but he'd catch on, hearing her sniffles. He bit back his own tears as he stopped walking and turned to face her. Damn it all he should have kept his mouth shut, now he made her cry! "Issy..." He said softly, pulling her gently into his arms. "Don't cry.. You'll make me cry." He said lightly whie he nuzzled her hair and gently pet her back, "You're happy aren't you?" He asked, closing his eyes.

When he pulled her into his arms, she couldn't hold back the tears despite what he told her. Holding onto his shirt, she could only nod to answer his question. After a moment, she managed to calm herself down enough to look up at him.
"I'm sorry Sora. I'm really sorry. This has been... an amazing day. So much fun. And..." she trailed off. And you finally said the words I've been waiting to hear, she thought. Why had he waited till now? Just a few weeks ago... if he had told her... She closed her eyes tightly and rested her forehead against his chest. Why couldn't anything ever be simple? "And... I'm sorry for being silly right now," she sniffed and let his shirt go to wipe her tears away.

"Don't be sorry Issy. I should be. I shouldn't have said anything..." Sighing he stepped away and used his shirt sleeve to wipe her tears away. "No crying... What's done is done..." He pressed a small kiss to her forehead and then offered his hand to her. "Let's go... "

She looked up at him as he wiped her tears with his sleeve, and closed her eyes when he placed a small kiss on her forehead. She took his hand in both of hers, holding it tightly. They arrived at the gates and Is looked back up at Sora.
"Despite... how everything has turned out. I am glad you told me Sora. You know that I love you... I think I always will. Hearing you say it back to me... means more than I think you will ever know," she said softly, dropping her eyes back down to the ground and resting her head against his arm.

Sora stopped at the gates, smiling down at her sadly. "I'd do anything for you Israel... you just have to ask me." He said as he pet her cheek lightly, leaning in to give her a small kiss to the lips. "I'll always love you too... and I'm sorry." He said as he looked into her eyes. "I couldn't say it fast enough and I lost you. I hope this guy your with now does it right. If not I'll give him a good talking to." He sighed, "If he does anything to hurt you Issy, and I mean anything, you come right to me Ok? I'll take care of you. I won't make the same mistake twice."

Israel closed her eyes as Sora leaned down to kiss her softly. She returned the kiss and opened her eyes when he pulled away. She smiled softly at his offer. She knew Giani would never do anything to hurt her. Which was probably the reason why her mind had been made up. She realized she could have easily broken it off with Giani and be with Sora again at this exact moment. But she wouldn't do that to him. Why? Because Sora had been right about one thing. You could love more than one person at one time. She just wanted someone she didn't have to share herself with, and she admitted that maybe that was a little selfish... But it was the way she felt, and what was done had been done.
Slowly, Is reached up and slipped her arms around Sora's neck, pulling him down to her. She pressed her lips to his and gave him a long, slow kiss. She hated that it felt like good bye.

Gently Sora's hands were placed on her hips, the second kiss being returned. In a way it was good bye... As he kissed he couldn't stop himself from it, he actually cried. It took all his will power to break the kiss and just press their foreheads together so he could speak to her.
"Stop... Because if you keep going I won't be able to resist." He whispered, then started to pull away. "I'm not heading back to the dorms so you might as well go on with out me... I got some other stuff to do .. and.. And I'm sure your boyfriend is missing you. I know I would be." He said as he tapped her nose then started off, reaching up to wipe at the tears in his eyes.

Israel swallowed back the fresh tears that threatened to spill from her eyes when she felt Sora's tears fall on her face. She wanted to make his tears and pain go away and had just started to tighten her arms around him when he pulled his lips away. She nodded and he pulled away, her hands sliding away from around his neck to fall at her sides. She watched him walk away from her, unable to say anything around the lump in her throat. She brushed away the few tears that escaped, and slowly started towards the dorms.~~~ Fade to Blue ~~~
