Sacros smiled "Mother" he said "I assume you mean Nightmare" he said before laughing "Any other kind of mother other than a deity is a ridiculous human made theory." he then turned to Gensou and grinned "Her daughter will not be the same" he said his eyes now slitting, giving away true evil. The very essence of which his soul was made from. A small chuckle escaped his throat as he looked at Gensou "because i intend to make a threat toward them. After killing Yukiko, i will leave this threat, that any who stand up to fill her place, will meet a worse fate."

He then laughed again, the thoughts crossing his mind, he licked his lips in satisfaction before turning back to Gensou "I wish to meet her, please show me her" he said now setting his mind in place for the occasion.

[OOC: I'm using indigo to indicate the posts done as the Goddess.]

"Child, no mortal man may show me to anyone."

A sinuous figure of violet light appeared beside Gensou, who smiled rapturously. As She passed by Her priest, She graced him with a kiss to the forehead; a kiss on the lips would slay him. Then She turned all of Her formidable attention to the figure on the floor.

"Sacros, Sacros. Such a pitiful creature, to shrink away from the light. As though my brother has any real power." She laughed, a long, rich rumble that shook the haven's walls and reverberated in the chests of every human present. "My pet has summoned this aspect of Me here to see you." The goddess disappeared, then popped into existence again standing beside Sacros' prone form. "Such pretty wings you have. And you say you will give me a piece of your soul in exchange for these little bits of fowl?"

She snorted, and wind rushed throughout the tiny building. Dark spirits fled to the corners of the room, trying to get away from their mistress while at the same time wanting her more than anything they had desired in life. "Souls are delicious, you know. That's why We like to keep a steady supply. Yours is not a human soul, nor animal. Perhaps you taste different, no?" She ran an ethereal hand up and down the wings, ignoring any grunts of pain or spasms of body. "I think I shall rebuild this tortured body of yours. Your dearest father did such a poor job of it. When will men realize that birthing babies is a woman's work?"

One moment, the wings were ruined beyond repair; the next, they were whole again. The Goddess smiled and planted a kiss upon Sacros' forehead as she had done with Gensou. She pulled out one slender, perfect hair from her head and tied it around his neck, where it transformed into a choker. "There. Now you'll always have a part of Mommy to keep with you."

And then, She was gone.

Sacros had a look of ecstasy on his face as she touched him. He smiled, the essence of pure evil warm against his skin. He closed his eyes, letting the choker settle on his neck. Power surged through his veins as the choker was placed on. He smiled and then went almost into a trance of pleasure, the darkness consuming some of his soul in exchange for power. He licked his lips and awaited from her to go. He then looked at Gensou and smiled.

"I am ready to kill" he said bowing slightly. His clothes seemed to restore themselves. He wrapped his cloak around his body and vowed politely to Gensou "When we meet again it will be under different circumstances" he said smiling, before turning and walking toward the door. Stopping after a few paces he turned back toward Gensou, placing a finger to his lips he grinned. "You wouldn't happen to have any more elemental items, something to help me on my way. I am sure dealing with Yukiko will be simple, escaping may be another matter" he said thinking "Anything like a shield?" he asked hopefully.

The High Priest, his rapture interrupted, glared at the source of any sound other than the Goddess' voice. "Yes, I think the circumstances may indeed be different when next we meet." he said coolly. "You have been marked by the Goddess. Anything that I could give you would be irrelevant. Go away. I have work to do, and you most assuredly do not want to be around whilst I do it."

He turned away, and quite suddenly, Sacros stood in the midst of a misty graveyard on the grounds of the Temple of Darkness, before a grave marked "Yosai Kazuhi".

Sacros looked at the grave, not bothering to read the name he turned and opened his wings. His ears listening for the wind to change, so it would blow in his ear. As it did he jumped, his wings making a huge flap, blowing leaves away from the grave. He flew up high into the sky, and with a few more flaps he was up in the sky, travelling as fast as he could to Laburnam city. He would be at the festival of light, and he would make his mark, by killing Yukiko.

Kyle stopped moving altogether and he shook his head as if he was trying to shake off an insect.

Hey, you ok Ky?

'That... feeling...'

Kyle turned to Theodore with a puzzled look.

Yeah, just got a weird feeling.

A weird feeling like "I should've brought my crossbow?"

No, just a strange feeling. We're not in any kind of danger. Come, let's tour through the temple.

The two of them slowly entered the temple. Kyle waved to any dark spirits he may have encountered, and Theodore studied the architecture.

((There you go Truewind, for when you wish to RP that student. *big hug*))

Stella raced down the temple's torchlit hallways as quickly as her small, slippered feet could carry her. Black initiate's robes flapped in the breeze of her passing, flying out behind her like a dark flag. In her arms was a pile of books stacked nearly above her head and perched on her nose was a pair of glasses. Her hair was long, but currently tied up in a loose bun, and of a nondescript brown hue that was little different from the colour of her robes.

She rounded a corner and slammed directly into Theodore.

"Oof!" she cried, and her books flew out everywhere. The young dark mage froze and looked at Theodore with horrified eyes, terrified that he would be angry at her.

Ack!

Theodore was slammed into, hit the ground, and looked at her apologetically.

Oh man, i'm sorry... Um- You ok?

Theodore smiled at her, worried that she would be angry, and started helping her recover her books. Kyle had wandered down a little farther and wasn't paying attention to Theodore at the moment

((Because I am too lazy to switch to Mercedes' account...))

While the Dark Mother was in the room, Mercedes had bowed, her staff before her and her head leaning against the staff. As the Dark Mother left, she stood up slowly and moved beside Gensou again.

"I take it that we are going to use that confused ideologist to test the power of the High Priestess, no?"

*Ippi smiled at Chen* Are we finished here? *she asked quietly, as if she was not sure whether she wanted to ask about it or not.* I am sure Theodore and Kyle are worried, seeing as we have been gone so long...

He motioned to the server and paid for the meal. Escorting Ippi, he began walking toward the exit.

Probably. Shall we go find them?

He smiled at her and winked slightly.

*She winked back, and held his hand as they went searching for the two. She was ecstatic that she was getting attention from a man. She always figured her life would revolve around alchemy and machinery, but I guess there is always room for other things. She hung on him slightly, as if she were drunk, but she was quite sober. She just liked being clingy.*

Hmmm, if I was him...

Care to tour the Temple of Darkness now?

Chen smiled at her, he liked a girl who clung.

Yes, of course, Chen...*she was excited. Monuments of this magnitude were rarely seen, and a tour of it would certainly make for an interesting time. Dark Magic had always fascinated her.*

Chen smiled again and led Ippi to the temple.

Then let's go.
