"Nothing since everyone seemed to part. Now everyone's coming back. It's crazy." She smiled and pulled away from the hug. She then looked at the girl. "This is a new member. Her name's Alanna. I think she'll be an awesome addition. Alanna, this is Kage. He's been around even before me. Same with Valgar over there."

Mari looked over at the girl and grinned back. "Sure. Why not? You look like you can give this human body a run for it's money." She walked away from Kage and Valgar a good bit to where they had enough room to spar without bumping into or attacking them and had the girl follow her. She then got into a defensive posistion and awaited the girl to come at her. "You can use weapons if you want. I might draw mine as the battle goes on. Just to give you fair warning." Her smirk didn't diminish and she awaited Alanna's response or attack.

"Sounds good to me." Seeing she got into a pretty rare defense posistion, Mari's was deffinately different. She had her left foot infront of her right and her hands held infront of her face. Her left leading and her right close to her chest and both were closed fist instead of open hand. She waited a bit more for her to attack first, but seeing that she wasn't, Mari dug her left foot into the ground and ran at the girl at a fast speed.

Mari had watched Alanna start an attack, but that wasn't where she was planning on going with her run. Taking advantage of the posistion she was in, she sped up and then went into what could be described as a baseball slide inbetween the girl's legs. When she passed under her, Mari hooked her hand around the girl's right ankle and pulled her not with her strength, but the velocity of the slide so the way she was planning, the girl's foot would be swept from under her and she'd fall face first in the ground. Though, not to be fallen on, Mari let go of Alanna's leg and then turned in such a way she was in a track starting posistion and stayed down towards the ground. Pretty open, but she could roll out of the way if she needed to.

"As are you, newbie." Mari laughed to show no offense and her track possistion gave her enough ground to force herself in another speed attack towards the girl. With how close they were, she just lunged at Alanna and was going at her only inches off the ground as if she was going to tackle her. Only thing was, she was off target by at least six inches. In other words, it seemed she wasn't going to tackle her head on.

Mari had then had energy daggars appear in her hands and slammed the one in her left hand into the ground and layed the side of her feet on the ground and continued to hold onto the dagger in the ground. She then ran in a counterclockwise motion for about two steps and pushed up aiming a double kick at the girl's stomach. With such force, it would surely knock her back on the ground even if she did block since she was still in motion and no part of her body was touching the ground.

Mari got hit, but was used to attacks in her stomach. Though, she did cough and get the wind knocked out of her, Alanna wasn't using much force or velocity to get her as hard as Mari got her. Alanna had lost grip of her leg and likewise Mari had lost her grip on the blade in her left hand and rolled away from the girl. To stop her rolling, she slammed the blade in her right hand into the ground and stopped. She got up slowly taking in another gasp of air and stood shaking a bit. Alanna was still on the ground and Mari was standing, but attacking someone while they were down in a sparring match wasn't her style. This was in good fun and not like her life was on the line. She waited to see if the girl could stand from such a powerful kick to the stomach, though. "Are you alright? Can you continue?"
