Mari had seen his scars before, but they didn't bother her much. She had her share on hers. Not to mention some markings that looked like tattoos done in solid black ink. She loved him no matter what he looked. "I'm ready." She gave him a smile and with that they headed from the mansion to the beach.

*a portal open and smash emerges as it closes behind him. he sat down on the couch wondering what mari was doing. she did say she was visiting but she just up and left. normally she would ask him to join her. he began to wonder if she was keeping something from him but figured that if theres something she needs to tell him, she will when she's ready. but smash himself wasn't feeling too good himself. sweat droped from his forehead and felt hot. perhaps he was coming down with something*

Mari had came in through a portal from the Angel realm and was outside at first. Vinsa had given her a shot that composed of a light metallic blue color. Likewise, the markings on her face and arms were light blue while she was still there. She put a new shirt on, one that wasn't punctured with the holes from the spikes and even used a make-up pencil to color the markings on her skin black until the vacination settled in. She walked into the mansion and seen Matt sitting there. Putting a smile on her face she walked over to him and leaned over him a bit. "How are you, hun?"

"It was very nice. I also checked in with my doctor while I was there. Routine check-up, really." She didn't want to lie to him, but she didn't want him to know the full story. So she at least mentioned her going to the doctor. "Bron's as joyful as ever." Clearly that last part was sarcasm due to their arguement while she was there.

Mari smiled. "Everything's going to be fine. Don't worry." She then ran her fingers through his hair, but noticed he was sweating. Her smile disappeared. "You just finish training? You're still hot." She then put her hands on his cheeks to check his temperature.

"That must have been a tough workout. You're really warm." She didn't seem to think it was a tough workout anymore and started to think he might be getting sick. "If you're not feeling well, tell me. I can get you some medicine or something." She sat down beside him and wiped his forehead a bit with her shirt sleeve.

Mari kisses him on the cheek. "You're not feeling well, are you?" She held his hand tightly.

Mari stood up and helped him up. "Come on. You're going to get some medicine and rest." She opened a portal to his realm now that she was able to and helped hold him up by putting his arm around her shoulder.
