Oh yes, so, I was in Mexico and I actually got to watch an episode or two of Escaflowne in spanish. Couldn't understand much, but I liked the anime more than the manga. go figure.

I once lent my anime to a girl i considered a friend, then she took it and never gave it back. And then she tried to lie and said she did and that i don't just remember. Next, after i said i didn't believe her, she said she gave it to one of my friends and when i asked which one she's like " i don't know" and when i asked what she looked like she said the same thing! stressed
I'm still sore about this if you can't tell stare

I am a lot more cautious about who borrows my anime. Not to mention that I etch my name into everything as well now. My name is on a DVD like 3 or 4 times! xd

Well that may be a joke, but I'm glad that people trust me. heart But, yeah, after G-sama borrowed my Hellsing 1&2 last December (and STILL hasen't given them back. scream ) I can see where everyone's doubts take root. I'm actually considering charging money next time someone borrows. Make them give me however much the manga cost, then give it back to them when they return it. That way if they don't, I can get a new one. pirate

tell me about it i usually buy anime if it has a lot of episodes on the disc or if it is really really good. i usually waste about $40 - $100 every 2 weeks when i get my paycheck on anime. xp well after i pay stupid bills i go anime buying.

Same, thats why I'm relunctant to buy Noir separatly, since there are only 4 eps on a disc, but it's soooo good!
Then again, a boxset wouldn't be THAT much chaeper I don't think.

boxsets tend to be cheapers sometimes. the best place to get anime from is animecornerstore.com. i've ordered from them before and they have great service and cheap prices.

Well, Up to about two years ago it was almost impossible to find anime in my town but now things have picked up. Our bookstore has a manga section and more places that sell movies, are now also selling anime or making there own anime section. If I do plan on buying a boxset or whole anime series then I look on ebay first and see if they have any of the real boxsets instead of the fake "perfect collection set on 3 dvds instead of 8 or 9. I am having trouble finding the good escaflowne dvds crying , and if anyone knows a good place I can order them from I would be very happy biggrin

Of course. Anime and manga are starting to become a world wide art form. I'm just waiting for the next big thing to challenge anime. i think it will be interesting.
