Mag continued past the counter and around behind the machines. There at the far corner of the store was a man in a suit standing near a poster. His jacket had a pin with the famous "R" logo on it.
"Hello there." Mag said to the man. "I was told to come here by a guy named.... Marcus? I think." Mag said as the guy quickly turned. He looked over increduously(?) Mag for several minutes. He glanced around before speaking. "Okay kid. Do you have the item?" he asked glancing around once more.
"The item? Oh you must mean this." Mag stated pulling out the ID card given to him by Marcus. "Goood, good, good. Okay now I guess you are Legit. So just swipe that card in the reader behind that poster and you will be all set. Enjoy your trip in Team Rocket." He said as Mag did as told.
Mag swiped the card through the reader and behind the poster. There was a small click and suddenly a lighted outline appeared on the section of wall. The wall then moved back quickly and there was an open hallway. Mag moved in as the wall slid back in place behind him.
"Well here goes everything." Mag said as he walked down hoping that no one would recognize him as the guy that helped destroy the Vermilion base.

Mag walked down the corridor for some time untill it merged into a large commons. There were many people moving about--all in Rocket garb. People moved here and there and into all the various halls and rooms that were connected here.
"Hey you!" Said a voice. Mag turned to see Marcus coming over to him from across the room. "Glad you made it here kid, hope you remember me." He said with a laugh. "The new people are having orientation over in that room over there. You should go in before it starts." Marcus said ushering Mag over to the room.
Mag walked inside and found several other trainers in the room. At the end was a large projector and screen. A woman in a business suit stood behind a podium waiting to present to the people sitting in in various chairs.
"Welcome, welcome! I am Sally the head at the Game Corner Base. I would like to thank you for joining up with Team Rocket however we can't have all of you so to decide who stays we will begin having some pokemon matches. Only the toughest trainers will be admitted. All of you have been matched with another trainer. There will be three rounds. If you would follow me please." She said as she lead everyone into another room connected to this one.

The Rock Tomb attack was a direct attack. It hit Spheal hard and sent the small pokemon rolling across the arena. Dante winced when he head the small pokemon cry out. "Shiva hang in there all right!" he called out.
When the small pokemon stopped rolling an angry look appeared in her eyes. With out waiting for any comand ice formed over her body and she launched herself into an anger spurned Ice Ball attack hitting the rock pokemon hard. While ice was not the most effective against rock types the loud smashing sounds that were heard and the ice and rock chips that were flying through the air tesitfied that both of the pokemon were taking a lot of damage from the attacks. Nosepass however was the first to fall due to the extensive damage that had been delt to it earlier with the Surf attack. When the rock pokemon finally feel Shiva had to be held back still. Apperently the pokemon did not take well to being hit by rocks.
When both Dante and Roxanne had returned there tired and battered pokemon they met up in the middle. "Thank you for the good battle Leader Roxanne." Dante said with a smile.
"Oh you dont need to call me that its just Roxanne. And that was a good battle. You used your type advantige well. I will just have to work on getting him immune to water attacks. Maybe we could battle again some time." She said with a smile. Dante smiled back and agreed with her, and they both exchanged pokenavi numbers. After that was done Roxanne handed him a small bag that contained his winning money with the Stone Badge pinned on the front of it. "Here you go. The Stone Badge is yours. Plus there is a little something extra in the bag for you." She finished with a smile. "Now if you excuse me I have a date." She said with a smile before leaving the gym. ((Hope that was a good battle!))

"You two!" Sally said pointing to Mag and a trainer on the opposite side of the area. "What are your names?"
"I am Ryu." Said the other trainer standing at attention. Mag decided that he probably shouldn't use his real name so he would go with an alias. "I am... Link." He said quickly trying to make it sound natural. "Okay you two will fight here in a 1 on 1 pokemon match." She said pointing to the closest arena. Then she began to assign the other 6 trainers arenas and opponents.
"Okay Link. You are going down!" Ryu shouted as he released a Rattata. "I am afraid that you are mistaken for you shall be the one that looses this fight." Mag said as Sunfire appeared in a blaze of orange and gold embers. "Rattata use your Tail Whip!" Ryu commanded. "That won't work on us. Use Tackle Sunfire!" Mag shouted as his pokemon swiftly ignored the tail movement and rammed the Rattata.
"Quick Attack Rattata!" Ryu commanded. "Sand Attack when it hits you Sunfire, then use Wish!" The small rat suddenly ran extremely quickly towards Sunfire who threw sand at it before getting hit by the attack. It was a harsh blow but it didn't cause too much of a set back.

((I am so tired of only having Tackle, Wish, Helping Hand, and Sand Attack. I wish I had $ to buy TM's! Oh well that is what trainer fights are for right?))
The battle with Ryu and his Rattata wasn't very hard. After a few Tackles the pokemon had fainted leaving Sunfire and Mag the victors. Plus Wish had taken in effect just in time for Sunfire to be restored for the next round of the fight. Four of the 8 trainers had lost already.
"Nice battles so far. But as I said only 1 of you may join Team Rocket. So we have in the next round Link VS Bowsa and Maria VS Cannon. Everyone to their arenas!" Sally shouted.
"Link is it?" Bowsa said. "What a weird name. It won't help you when my Torkoal tears you to shreds!" Bowsa sent out the turtle pokemon as Mag sent out Sunfire to take it out. "Sunfire, use your Sand Attack and then hit it with Tackle!" Mag commanded as the two pokemon approached eachother. "Use Ember Torkoal!!" Bowsa shouted.
Sunfire easily ran up into the flames as it absorbed their energy. It then proceded to shove sand at the enemy. Unfortuantly for Sunfire the White Smoke special ability blocked the effects of the sand but Tackle still came through and sent the turtle reeling off in it's shell. "Wha!? The ember didn't work? At least you were stupid enough to try to lower Torkoals stats though. Use Smokescreen Torkoal!" Bowsa shouted.

"Great now I only have 1 functioning attack." Mag muttered to himself. "Okay Sunfire, use Wish and then keep Tackling it when it comes out of the Smokescreen!" Mag commanded. Sunfire stood still at the edge of the smoke that had filled the center of the arena.
"Torkoal use your Fire Spin attack!" Suddenly out of the smoke came embers that swarmed around Sunfire. But they had no effect on him due to Flash Fire. "Man don't you learn? Flash Fire stops all fire attacks from hurting Sunfire." Mag reprimanded. "Well fine then. I guess we have to use Curse then Smog!" Bowsa shouted. His pokemon grunted then came blazing out of the smokescreen at Sunfire.
Flareon quickly took the chance to get in a Tackle attack. The Torkoal seem much slower than before. It must have been the Curse attack, though the Tackle seemed less effective. As Sunfire came to hit a second time the turtle released noxious gas from all the ports on it's body. Sunfire was hit but he did not get poisoned or stop up his attack.

((Yeah I really had to put in those shout outs. It was fun coming up with the names.))
Both pokemon battled intensly and both were becoming worn out. "Try to hit it with another Smog Torkoal!" Torkoal growled in response but it was still trying to get up from the last Tackle. "Sunfire hit it with Tackle a final time!" Mag shouted. Suddenly orange balls of light shone around Sunfire. His Wish had come true--his energy was restored.
"Yes! Okay you know what to do: Tackle that turtle!!!" Mag cheered as his pokemon avoided the slow moving cloud of gas that had drifted over from Torkoals Smog attack. He swiftly moved in and hit the pokemon who promptly fainted. "Oh snap." Bowsa said as two Rockets came and grabbed him by the arms and lead him out of the room.
"Nice job Link." Sally stated. "Your final opponent isn't quite done yet. Oh wait it looks like Cannon just won. You two will get to fight for who is the next Rocket recruit." Sally said as she moved to the center of the ring. "Ready, set, battle!" She shouted!

Dante watched the gym leader leave with a little smile on his face. He looked down at Meowth. "Lets head off to the pokemon center before exploring the town." He said as they exited the gym themselves.
"You still owe me some gum though!" Meowth said as he jumped up onto Dante's shoulder to lazy to actually walk when someone would do it for him.
"Yeah yeah, you can pick whatever kind you want. I am just glad that Shiva won that for us. We need to be getting to Lavaridge town though. I heard that the Legendary Pokemon story teller lived there." He said as they entered the pokemon center.

((I'm gonna say that next time I lose. "Oh snap." xD Lovin' your posts, Mag. ^^ )) About half an hour later, they found themselves at the Pokemon Center. Kasiya handed all her Pokemon over for treatments and checkups, even a reluctant Shocker. After a second of thinking, Jaeshan did the same. He crashed on the couch, looking exhausted. Kasiya smiled at him and paced around the center, still feeling quite energetic. Maybe I'll slip out and head off to Celadon City, she thought. Jaeshan looked like he was about to drift off, and Ryka was very quiet, cuddling with Blitz.
Kassie sighed, awaiting the return of her Pokemon, when she spotted a poster affixed to the wall. "Cherryblossom Festival," she read aloud. "Fun, food, games and Pokemon. Everyone welcome." Hmmm, sounds interesting," she mused, reading over the rest of the poster quickly. "I think we'll definitely be going to this," she added as she heard her name being called by Nurse Joy.
"All healed," she said with a smile, handing her a tray with five Pokeballs. "You kids have been busy today," she added, looking kind of tired.
"Thank you," Kasiya said, reattaching them to her belt. "Take it easy, okay?" she said with a smile. She looked over at Jaeshan, who was snoozing. Ryka appeared to be dozing as well, and Kasiya smiled. "You guys rock," she said, before grabbing a piece of paper and scribbling something about being back soon and going to the Cherryblossom Festival together for them. She gathered her things, stepped outside to locate her bike, and pedalled off north towards the gates of Saffron City.

"Phanpy you are up!" Cannon shouted sending out the small elephant. "Tsunami, it is your turn to battle." Mag said as he released the water monster. "Phanpy start out with a Odor Sleuth attack!" Cannon shouted.
The elephant quickly sniffed in Tsunami's scent. "Tsunami use Sand Attack and then hit it with a Tackle attack!" Mag shouted. Vaporeon did as told and ran up kicking sand at the small monster right before it rammed into it. The Phanpy quickly recovered from the blow and charged in for its own Tackle. Luckily Vaporeon dodged the attack.
"Phanpy let it get close and then use that attack." Cannon shouted mysteriously. "So trying to be secret are you?" Mag shouted. "Okay then I guess I will bite. Go in close and use Tackle again Tsunami!" Tsunami quickly ran at Phanpy. As it approached Phanpy lifted it's trunk into the air. Suddenly it slammed it down into the ground.
A massive crack began to emerge right where Tsunami was standing. The water pokemon quickly moved out of the way just as the ground renched open in a might crash. The Phanpy had used Fissure.

((Last post for a while.))
"Holy Crap!" Mag shouted thinking that that would have been an excelent time for one of those anime sweat drops. "Good dodge Vaporeon now hit it with a Tackle attack!" Tsunami ran over to the off guard Phanpy and rammed into closer to the edge of the fissure.
"Don't let it push you it. Try a Rollout attack!" Cannon shouted to his pokemon. Phanpy quickly rolled itself into a tight ball and began to spin in one place for a moment before rocket launching itself towards the helpless Vaporeon. "Try to dodge it and make it go into the fissure!" Mag shouted as Tsunami positioned itself close to the edge of the great crevice.
The ball came rolling in quickly at Tsunami who managed to get out of the way for its first strike. But it came back a second time at a different angle and rammed into the poor pokemon. It kept moving and came around for a third strike. This time though it came perpendicular to the fissure. It was a perfect set up.
Tsunami quickly moved out of the way and the rolling elephant rolled right over the edge into the deep pit. "Oh no! Use Defense Curl!" Cannon shouted as his pokemon shouted "Phaaaaaannnnn!" and then a loud PLUNK was heard as it hit the ground. "Phanpy?" Cannon questioned. But it was too late. The pokemon had fainted as it hit the bottom.
"Good show you two, good show." Sally stated as she quickly shook Links hand. "Take him out." She motioned to the Bockets nearby. "Now this is your uniform," Sally stated handing Mag a bag with a Rocket outfit in it. "Please change in their and wait for further instruction."
Mag went into the side room and quickly put on the uniform. It consisted of a hat with a small R in a gray circle, a dark blue T-shirt with a large R on it, dark blue cargo pants, and an even darker blue/black overcoat.

Jaeshan awoke with a start, a cold sweat running down his back. "Stupid dreams, he muttered, sitting up. He looked around, remembering where he was. "My Pokemon..?" he muttered again, realizing they were being treated. "Kassie?" having just awoken, his thought processes were slow. He stood up, a slip of paper falling from his lap and onto the floor. He picked it up, and read it quickly. "She left..." he said, retrieving his Pokemon. "How long ago?" he asked the nurse.
"About an hour at best?" she said, shrugging.
"Who knows where she could have gone," he said, wondering why she'd up and left. He looked over to see Ryka was still there. "Hey, at least she didn't run off too," he chuckled.

Serenade attempted to Body Slam the Grovyle, but he was just too slow. The Grovyle quickly dodged the attack, and begand to use a barage of Leaf Blades against Serenade. "Belly Drum Serenade! Then Rest!"
Serenade did the stat boosting move then promtly went to sleep. Quickly regaining all lost stamania. "Bad move! Now he's wide open for attack!" the girl explained, a girn covering her face. "Another Leaf Blade Groyvle!"
"Now!" Seth shouted as the Grass Pokemon rushed forwards. "Snore!" As the Grovyle approached at top speeds he was blown back by the sound waves from the Snorlax's snore. It quickly fainted after attempting to get up thanks to the power that Belly Drum gave him.
Meanwhile Swellow and Aero were in the sky giving and taking blow for blow, and hit for hit. "Aerial Ace!" the girl commanded, confidence filling her voice. "Take 'em out with a Slam!" Seth directed.
