Subtitles can be weird.
Anyway, I watch mostly dubs, but I have seen a few subs. I watch Naruto subbed because I'll be a zillion years old before I finally catch up with my friends.
Plus, some of the Naruto voice are crap.

For me it depends on what I feel like listening to. lately it's been English cause on computer I watch my anime in Japanese so whenever I check out an anime from the library I listen to it in English. ^^

Depends on the voice acting for me. If english id really annoying then Japanese it is. And vice versa.

Lately, I haven't been watching anything in English. Everything I watch now is Japanese with subs or I'll risk it and go full Japanese and see how much I know (which isn't much) =^_^=. Still, I have to agree with Luci partially. For me there are certain shows which I absolutely HAVE to watch in English. These include Ghost in the Shell:SAC:2ND GIG, Full Metal Alchemist, and .hack since I believe its easier for me to learn the political and philosophical parts of the show easier this way. So yeah. If it isn't a serious show, then I'm going to watch it in Japanese (exception to Studio Ghibli since I love his works better in Japanese than English. Like The Cat Returns. I saw it in Mandarin and it was better than the English version).

English subtitles with Japanese voiceovers...I don't like the english voice, they can be pretty messed up... sweatdrop However, it can be pretty hard to enjoy the artwork with the subs...

i love watchin mine in japanese with english subs.i dont really like watching it in english..lol it sounds so much cooler in japanese...anyone else like it to???i especially love fight scenes cause the jap make it cool...i like japanese
