Narniakat Ivyith (I work at the library, so I get some privileges ;P) Nobody told me about them or anything, I just saw one on the shelf and picked it up. That's how I find all the books I read.
I'm jealous! I have always wanted to work at a library. I just think it would be heaven.
The actual work is okay, although shelving books doesn't exactly stimulate my brain. The getting paid $5.15 an hour and less than 15 hours a week isn't that great. But then, that's just because I'm a student worker. The librarians who are actually certified and went to college for that express purpose probably have it better 3nodding

Anita Blake lover Since: 2001 (first book I read was Circus of the Damned, I didn't know anything about the books but my boyfriend*husband now* thought I would enjoy them. Best thing he's ever turned me onto.)
Favorite Character: It used to be Richard before he got such an attitude now it's Jean-Claude but Asher is a VERY close second. heart
Do I like all of the sex?: It is a lot but I still enjoy it I mean we've come so far with the characters I can't leave them EVER!
I am also an AVID Anne Rice reader. I love her and Laurell the same though heart biggrin

w00t! I'm in. Sorry, peeps...had a little trouble with gaia. It decided not to notify me that I was a member of the guild. Yah, so whee.
Ok, onwards and upwards.
Name's DravenAngel, or Draven if you please. I'm 20 and started reading the series this summer. I went through the books like candy. They were really good. I'm gonna start rereading them soon, b/c I'm waiting for Incubus Dreams to come out in paperback. Asher, Damian, and Nathanial are my favorite bishis of the series. As for pure character I love Edward aka Ted Forrester. He's great. I loathe Richard. He started out ok, but just progressivly got more assholish. Anita's cool, its nice to have a heroine who's short and petite kicking a**. I'm 5' 2" IRL so I know what she means whenever she talks about size. Jean-Claude is pretty cool, but I like him better in the beginning of the series. My favorite books out of the series would be Guilty Pleasures, Blue Moon, and Cerulian Sins. I thought they were written extremley well, and the character developments were pretty nice. Although I really have to give kudos to Obsidian Butterfly, the character development on Edward in that book was outstanding.
Uhm...lesse, what else? I love vampires, I think they're really sexy and I love the myth and philosophy behind them. I like Anne Rice books too. *please don't hurt me* I love mythology so I get some of the stuff Hamilton talks about in her books. Outside of the world of Vampires I like bowling, football (my team is the Patriots), dancing, music, art (I doodle alot), movies. My favorite movie of all time is Ghostbusters. Pirates of the Caribbean, Top Gun, Strictly Ballroom, Bend It Like Beckham, and The Crow are up there too. Yah, I think that about covers it. Hope that's thurough enough. 3nodding

I just want to say thanks for letting me into your nice guild. ^^
Okay... I go by Sikona, or Sin if you don't like that. If you don't like either, I guess that's just too bad. Grins: I'm 20, and I live in Ontario. I have no pets other than my friends and family... my cats died a while ago, and my rabbit just died.
Originally, I didn't like the AB series. One of my best friends came home from university, ranting about this series her english prof had gotten her to read. And no... it wasn't odd for this prof to be getting her students to read AB... she talked about how she wants to write slash fics to her students. ^^; Anyways, My friend only had books 4, 6, 7 and 8, so that's what I read. I disliked her writing style when I first picked up book 4... but those characters were so damn cute and addictive. I read the other three because I was out of reading material... and then I just couldn't get them out of my head. Somehow, I had become a fan! I went out and bought Narcissus in Chains, and have also read Obsidian Butterfly and Cerulean Sins, now. I'm working my way through the Merry Gentry series right now, and I'm enjoying it, too. I'm waiting to borrow some of the earlier AB books from another friend who I helped infect with this obsession... it's pretty hard to find some of the earlier books, sometimes.
I'm a gamer and an anime fan with odd taste in music. My favourite characters are Asher and Jean-Claude, who I don't want to dress up like they were dolls... and I'm far too fond of Edward and Olaf. ^^; Zane and Jason make me laugh, and if you can't figure out why, you need to reread chapter 3 of Blue Moon. Best line ever. Nathaniel is the best stuffed toy ever... squishy kitty. Sadly... I recieved a toy leopard for my birthday, and I was looking at it, trying to figure out what to name it... it was so cute. So, I officially have a toy leopard named Nathaniel. Someday, I'll post a pic of it, if you want.
My favourite authors are Sara Douglass, Douglas Adams, George RRMartin, Neil Gaiman, Patricia DiBartolo, and Robin McKinley.
Enough ranting about me. ^^;

*waves* Well, names Hanna... going to be 16 in October and I live in Oklahoma. I was introduced to LKH last year but a really good friend of mine. Silly of her, she didn't realise what she was doing.
I'm still in the process of reading the series. *sighs* I hate being poor and having no job. Well, I love anything that deals with Vampires, Lycanthropes or anything that is like it. ^^ I'm a supernatural fanatic. Thus why my Mother gets mad at me easily.
I have to say that my favorite character is... JEAN-CLAUDE! Who can not love that sexy, french vampire? redface I'm in love with that man and Anita and him so need to hook-up!! Robert... oh Robert just needs to back off!

Hi my names Megan but I usually go by Megs cuz there is an overwheling number of Megans in the world. I first read Gulity Pleases over this past summer when my boyfriend handed me the book and said "I know you like vampires and you'r my little geek reader. So you should enjoy it." He is a funny guy. I'd actually heard of the series before that but never got around to buying and reading them cuz I read to much. I found that I love Anita for her humor as sick and twisted as it is. I've only read a few of the books but what I've read I've fully enjoyed and I look forward to reading the rest of the books as soon as well...I can. Yeah i think thats enought about me.

My name is actually Kathy, my mother spelled it with a K and not a C because she didn't want anyone to call me Cat, but all my friends have always called me Kat so my mother spelled it that way for nothing.
All the talk about the Megan dilema made me think of that.

hiya! name's Andre, and I've been reading LKH for a few years. I'm a completly obsessed with Edward and the lepord pard. Cherry's my favorite kitty, right up there next to Nathaniel. (Nyaa!) I'm one of the many Richard haters, just because he's too ... well ... Richard. xp
anywho, a few months ago I was just randomly surfing Gaia when I saw 'Ted Forrester' xd He's my new favorite person on gaia. whee

Hello all, my name's Laialda, I'm 20, and Live in good old Maryland in the States. I've been reading the Anita Blake series for about 2-3 years now. I got into them by a former co-worker who had been re-reading them and I just happened to flip open the book to see what is was about. Ever since then I've been hooked! blaugh 3nodding I started by borrwoing them from her, then I bought them slowly myself (and re-read them in the process blaugh ) I have since gotten several family members and friends addicted to them as well 3nodding biggrin and can't wait for Inncubus Dreams ^_^

Names toni renee russell, i found out about laurell k hamiltion when her farieie bookcame out a kiss of shadows. Ever since then ihave been obssed with the series. I'm 19 and go to CSU-Peublo. I'm a music major and i just love to sit down and read book that disterb other ppl twisted !!
I live in colorado and also enjoy inuyasha. blaugh
