Shifty hit the barrier and stumbeled back but managed to get up and cut the boulder down before it did any serious damage. His hand now glowed ((sp?)) with black flame and he threw the ball at the barrier. "I wont fail!! Not now!!" he yelled as the flames from his hand intensified.

Takara bearly made out Parth's beckoning of her, "Seshiro...Parth needs us." she said as she placed her hand upon the back of his shoulder. Then looked towards where Parth was at.

Seshiro kept the fire barrier up and put an earthen barrier behind it to help block Shifty's attack. "FOOL!" He then raised many earthen spikes from the ground to attack Shifty.

One spike managed to cut into his foot, only a little before he jumped up and fired a pillar of fire at the barrier, standing upside down on the roof. "You think pain or even death will deprive me of getting rid of my nightmares?" he yelled. His master would definitely stop giving him these images if he completed the mission. He was sure of it.

"I don't really care, you betrayed my trust! I could've saved you from whatever haunts you, I would've sacrificed my own life to help my friends!!" Seshiro doubles the thickness of the barriers as the pillar hits them and launches his own pillar of fire and earth at Shifty. "I've done nothing in my life but try to help my friends and loved ones!!!! I would've done the same for you!!" Seshiro glowed even brighter.

Shifty's mind was closed now. The words Sheshiro said were meaningless to him. He jumped on to the ground and fired a slow moving ball of flame at Parth, hoping Sheshro would drop the barrier and save his friend, so then he could attack.

Takara could sense that Parth was slipping away, so without much thought she tried to teleport herself out of the barrier but since they were in an area that didnt have water nearby she couldn't. "Seshiro...Parth's dying!!!" she shouted.

Seshiro looked over at Parth. "PARTH!!!!" Seshiro put a lot of power into his barriers and forced them to expand, shielding only Parth, himself and Takara. By now the dragon's blade and his jewel were shining red so brightly that they seemed they would burst into flame but they did not. Seshiro put every bit of his strength into the barriers in order to save Parth and hurt Shifty.

Shifty smiled. He jumped hi into the air and then wrapped the black flame and the lightening around himself and his katana, trying to peirce the sheild now that it was stretched so far.

"Seshiro, you're not going to be able to hold up the shield and fight against Shifty. Please, you protect Parth, while I go and fight against him." she said as she held unto his arm.

Seshiro saw Shifty leap and then turned both barriers into giant spikes and sent them hurling at Shifty. He then grabbed Takara, burst into flame disappearing and reappearing beside Parth, grabbed Parth and then flew high into the sky. "Maybe later!!"
