Dreslin

Which comes to the point of the mortal's fingers closing around the punch earlier, which in effect takes hold of it. Ikibe would find that withdrawing his fist from Dreslin's hand difficult as it would not come out of Dreslin's hand easily. Hell it didn't come out at all. Sure, Dreslin's arm was pulled slightly some in accordance to his opponent's movement of the arm/hand. However, Dreslin simply was not letting go. Dreslin's arm/hand slightly moved around appropriately as Ikibe tried his machine gun punch maneuver. However, he would find that Dreslin's hand simply wouldn't let go. His hand was holding the fist almost in place no matter which way it tried to be freed in.

Why was this? If Dreslin was not sent overboard by Ikibe, the fist would easily slip out and Dreslin would be pwned. Game over. But no. Ikibe had to go and piss him off, majorly. Resulting in not only the punch being blocked, but now the fist was not being released despite Ikibe's seemingly amazing strength.

The mortal opened his eyes. Looking deeply into his opponent's, it would be as if he looked into his opponent's soul to cast judgment himself. His left hand formed a fist and at a speed comparable to the hao'tien stance came toward a part of Ikibe. Not Ikibe's main body, but rather his entrapped hand. More specifically, the wrist of his entrapped hand.

If there was a power measuring gauge for how hard Dreslin had hit the forcefield at the speed it was going, it would be possibly be enough to fracture a normal human's bone upon impact. The power behind Dreslin's left hand coming to the wrist of his opponent's entrapped fist would be rivaled to that amount of power. One punch may not initially ******** it up at first. But, it can pave the way for more of them to screw it up.

The question was, what would Ikibe do about it?

It was funny, but Dreslin might have survived a bit longer if he had let go of the fist. As he lets his hand move with Ikibe's fist...

Quote:

he essentially screws himself. Ikibe pulls his right fist back for the second punch, dragging Dreslin with him at about chest level, but fires a left body blow instead. Dreslin was free to catch this too, though the author doubts he could with his right arm stretched out across his field of vision and effectively making a blind spot for the left's movements. If Dreslin fails to catch the other fist, it would land in his stomach.

The first thing he would notice as his life flashes before his eyes, is that Ikibe was a southpaw. The strength behind the left handed body blow was massively more than the right's. Secondly, the shockwave effect was more powerful as well, not having to travel the width of Ikibe's own body made it easily double the power of the first blast.

If Dreslin did somehow manage to become aware of the other threat, and go to catch that fist as well, Ikibe would be prepared for that eventuality. If Dreslin's hand came up, Ikibe (Who's field of vision to his own left was not as obstructed as Dreslin's) would rotate the fist in a twist punch and slip out of the grasping fingers to penetrate onto the stomach anyway.

Likely, Dreslin's only hope was to break the hold and put on some distance. But as stated before, if he did that Ikibe would simply follow up with the barrage of rights.

Pulled the right fist back did move Dreslin, however it would only extend his arm out some. His upper body still wouldn't move, yet. The blind spot would be created for the higher portion of the Dreslin's right side, however, it did not blind the lower portions. When Ikibe pulled back, it would seem that let up much of the power in his left hand. Likely tactic after this would be to attack with another body part. his legs and head weren't moving in the offensive motions which left Ikibe's left hand.

So simply, he shifted his body while in the air while the punch was coming at him. His sides shifted to that his lower half of body was going toward being perpendicular to his opponent, as the viewpoint of the Dreslin's body would rise, it would show that the higher of his body viewed, the somewhat less it was shifted. Making the left punch fly past him at stomach level. Making the punch and it resulting shockwave hitting nothing, but air. It would be seen that his right side would be closer to Ikibe.

What would come after the shockwave punch hitting nothing? An attempt by Dreslin's left hand to come down and take hold of his opponent's arm to try to get a firm hold of it, just like both right hands are right now.

((Post edited at Dreslin's insistence.))

Ikibe whips his left hand back before Dreslin has a chance to catch it. The shockwave effect blasts out anyway, not travelling through a body system but instead rippling through the air to impact Dreslin outside of the body.

Ikibe steps inwards, acting rapidly as he follows his opponent. He fires a left at the opponent's collarbone, a punch that would shatter the man and a shockwave that would likely do the same. At the same time his begins to expand and retract his right hand, rotating the wrist and running the knuckles and fingertips around the clenching hand. In addition, the blue glow of the factory aura covers that fist and in turn Dreslin's own.

The shockwave effect was lesser from these light points of contact, but it would be enough to interfere with Dreslin's over-driven body. The little ripples were probably as dangerous as the larger ones, throwing the body's systems into chaos and weakening. This would be even more dangerous for the human's body in the state it was in now. With the fight or flight response roaring through his opponent, he may be able to take Ikibe's blows but his body would be immensely vulnerable to the little effects attacking his balance, nerves, and senses because all of these things were being enhanced. Then, having expanded the size of his fist, he clentches it again and pulls out rapidly, rotating the fist as well. If that didn't get his hand back, the author would be surprised and suspect that his opponent was ignoring things like reality that he didn't agree with.

Meanwhile...

Two hundred feet above them, multiple blue tears slash open the skies.

Victoria had been watching the match since it began, and realized it was a waste of her time a few moments before people started leaving. She wasn't going to leave though. She came to see the fight to the end no matter how much pain it caused her.

Since there was plenty of time during the match she decided to reach into a large leather purse she brought with her and pulled out a small make-up bag. Out from the make-up bag she pulled another smaller bag. This bag contained a compact. She opened it up looked at herself for a moment and then decided she looked fine.

She closed the compact, inserted in its bag, insterted the compact bag into the make-up bag, and inserted the make-up bag into the large leather purse. Victoria then folded her hands neatly and continued to watch the match. He clothes were so neat and emaculate. It seemed as if she went through a lot of trouble just to look very nice, and very nice she did look untill, BANG! One of the remaining specators -probably due to overwhelming boredom- shot himself, spattering blood all over her pure white top.

+++Corant entered the spectators viewing area. This was the longest match he'd ever seen. Sitting down, he watched the match for a bit before having to repeatedly supress the urge to get his particle rifle out and end the match himself. Neither contestant seemed to be getting hurt at all, which was odd. Odder still was that both contestants seemed to have the ability to block or dodge anything. This was incredibly boring for Corant. He noticed the body of the newly dead spectator, and left the arena before he too had the urge to shoot himself.

The gates burst open, and for the second time the dimensional-SWAT force appears to save the multiverse from things in general. There are six men, three standing at one gate three standing at the other.

A soldier from the southern end gets into an awsome kneeling position and fires an AT4 rocket at Ikibe, meanwhile the other three men, armed with OICW assault rifles begin unloading their clips on the hapless Dreslin. The sound of brass hitting the ground and gunshots firing should bring the spectators ease, knowing that the official end of this match has just begun.

While the excitement takes place the remaining two men set down a pair or round half-sphere shaped divices and in sync push a small button on the top. Instantly time's effects on the arena floor were reveresed to a point and the floor was restored to it's orginal from. The two soldiers then stand up aiming their H&K MP5s at Ikibe, though they already know the rocket will obliterate him.

"Damn I see some people want to destroy these 2 already... But isn't that illegal to interfere in other peoples matches as well as a tourney?"

He said as he sat lazily in the stands munching on some snacks watching as some people lack the patience of the 2 opponents to finish their fights. Discipline is a virtue as well he sighs and nods in disagreement to the patience upon some people.

*The six ten-story royal guard mechanoids surrounding the arena kill the soldiers long before they have a chance to even see the fight. Each one is quickly executed by a blast of unfathomably strong energy from the glaive-like weapons.*

Unfortunately these mechs are incapable of doing so, as the Dimensional-SWAT, masters of time and space foresaw this and countered it ahead of time. They killed the inventor by executing his mother during birth. And due to the lack of reaction from Ikibe and Dreslin, both combatants are obliterated and riddled with bullets leading to their demise, expunging them from the tourney. The soldiers, having finished their job press the buttons on their watches and return to whence they came. LONG LIVE THE DIMENSIONAL-SWAT FORCE!

The temporal incursion created by this is corrected and Genesis erases this task force from existance. Seeing as Genesis is outside time and space they aren't the masters there and as such can't see it coming, not to mention all the fun guards against such foresight. Two can play at the erasure game.

*Seeing as Ikibe was the creator, and when trying to interfere with any timeline involving unmaking him you are routinely slaughtered by Chronos Watchdogs, you still die horribly.*
