"Alright." Darian replies, waving and walking towards the beach. He knew when he heard where they wre going that there would be swimming and is wearing his swimming shorts under his pants. Why couldn't she have waited until sunset?

Jay and Trea play on the playground near the beach as Kitara and Margem swim in the water. The redhead doesn't even need to look up to know that the elvish Darian is coming towards the beach. She rests in the water, floating on the surface as Kitara treads near her.
"So, you know the guys are going to ask us what's for supper. What are we going to do? Do you want to make the first meal or should I?" the elvish lady asks.
"Whatever works, I guess. Why don't you?" Margem says as she closes her eyes and relaxes.

Lael comes down shortly in a modest, white, one piece. She carefully lays out a towel and puts on some strong sun screen.

((OOC: Question for Star: why would one wear a white swimsuit, even if it is modest and a one-piece? I mean, white is awful when wet.... Doesn't Lael like to swim?))

((Actually, my sister has a white swimsuit which I really like, which is what I had in mind. Because of their material they aren't see through when wet so you can swim in them. Lael loves to swim. ^^))

(OOC:Well, if it's a material that doesn't go see through when wet then I suppose Lael's safe. I'm debating on whether or not to bring Nathan in, without him knowing that the others are here.)
Darian walks down to the lake and takes of his coat, pants and shirt. He sets them all down, careful not to make the ring fall out of his coat pocket. When he was in his swimming trunks his battle scarred body was easily visible, along with the latest addition, the elvish symbol for love tattooed on his right shoulder blade. The elf dives in and swims over to his cousin and Margem.

Kitara nods and responds to Margem's question, as with a "Sure, why not? I'll make it tonight."
The redhead notices Darian swim up to them and she smiles without opening her eyes.
"Glad to see that you finally decided to join us, Darian."
((OOC: Oh. Okay then. And, as for Nathan, whatever works, I guess....))

After finishing setting up her towel Lael heads into the water. She swims over to Darian, Kitara, and Margem. To Kitara and Margem she says, "I hope that I'm not intruding. I know we don't know each other to well..."

"I don't have a problem with it." Darian replies. "And I don't think Margem will. After all Lael, you and I are just friends."

The grey eyed Mystic, her eyes now open, uprights herself in the water and says lightly, "I know you two are only friends so why would I have a problem with it? Darian, do you think I'd be jealous or something like that? If you think I would be jealous, ...you're pathetic."
With that, Margem dives into the water and swims towards shore.
Kitara shakes her head and says, turning to her cousin, "Darian, I think you may need a lesson or two about how to deal with women...today. Maybe I can talk with you a bit more about how to deal with her, though you pretty much know how to, and Lael can try to get to know her. Sound good?"

"I know Margem's not the jealous type." Darian replies to his cousin. "I was more worried about her being afraid Lael and I were more than friends. I don't want her to think anything so obviously not true. I would never do anything to hurt her."

Kitara dunks underwater to give herself a bit of time to think things through. She resurfaces and turns to her cousin.
"I don't think she's jealous, cousin, but she probably felt stung that you might think she'd be jealous about a friendship. I mean, that's what my reaction would be if that happened between Jay and me when we were dating," she says then, turning to the albino woman, says, "And even if you're not family, you could always join us and meet everyone. You can be friends with us, even when you're not family."

Margem steps out of the water and, the young elf child seeing her, is tackled to the sand by Trea.
"Margem, can you be my aunt?" the girl asks her.
The redhead laughs, "Now how could I be while your mom and dad are both only child? But we can act like I'm your aunt, on the playground, if you'll let me up."
The girl grins and, after letting Margem up, they race to the playground.

Lael smiles. "Thank you Kitara." Turning to Darian she says, "Why don't you go explain to her? I'm sure she's not to mad. She should forgive you, especially if you do so now rather than later."

"That's a good idea." Darian replies, swimming over to the shore. He notices Margem and Trea running to the playground and walks after them. If the elf wanted to he could run and catch up to the elf child and the Mystic but he has yet to figure out exactly what to say.
