stare I'm thinking that envy is a boy cause he has so many fan girls......Some people have told me that envy is a girl that transforms into boys but I think ENVY IS A GUY!!!!!!!!

Really, homunculi dont have a gender. I guess it really depends on what the Homunculus's sex was before it died. Envy, was a male before it died.
So yeah. Guy. All the way. heart
And guys.... he's a shapeshifter..... so if he SHAPE SHIFTS into a girl, that doesnt mean he is a girl.

Winter_Angel_Machi Envy-san s0n_g0ku_l0ver ...I really don't get why people get confused between Envy being a boy or girl. I hope no one gets insulted by me asking this, but what features/qualities do you guys find, that make Envy seem so girly? Some say he has boobs..... stare tsk tsk... they are called pecs you dimwits! you shall find out why he is truely a boy when you see the end. *SPOILER* He shows Edward his true form-- true as in original, what his body(before he was a homunculus and was alive) looked like; and it is definetey male. *END SPOILER* my idol. i thought that he was a girl... gonk um no offense but you're weird. sweatdrop

I think officially he's a guy, but between his clothing, the number of times I've called him a she and his genderbending (What a weird word.) I just call Envy an 'it'.

Envy is aprtly related to edward and alphonse. this is because Envy was the love-child of Dante and light honenheim, but something must of gone wrong and the baby died. Dante and Light Honenheim tried to bring him back through human transmutation but he ended up a homunculus

He's definatley a boy. I had a lot of confusion in the begining to. But I did the research. He's a he. It's really weird how he looks, talks, and dresses like a girl though...

I'm not sure what Envy really is because I don't know exactly what "it's" true form is with all the shape-shifting and what not.. A homunculi is still typically a human give or take a few human qualities so somehow "it" can be classified as a male or female... I'm just not sure which..Though he was created from a guy and claims his true form is a guy, this could be true or false so I'm going to have to say I don't know..If I had to decide, definitely I'd go with a guy.. At least that's the most logical thing to go with..

I've read his profile in one of the dubbed version's dvds, and it said Envy is neither a guy nor a girl...but yea...definitely a guy o.O
