"I wike? Fwowers and candy and..." Ina paused, looking thoughtful. She liked lots of things! How could he possibly not know? That was just strange! "...Toys and kitties and...pwaying tag! You're itttt!" She hurried around from behind her mommy and tapped Gavin on the head before giggling and running the other way. Fuuuun~!
Ari shook her head, "I'm afraid not. Though we do come around rather often. I have a home already and some other charges so moving in here would be rather...difficult, really."

Flowers, candy, toys, kitties...tag?!
He winced slightly as she tapped him head. It took him a minute for him to process that a game had begun. She couldn't just throw stuff like this at him at such short notice! He carefully got to his feet, wobbled a bit, and then tried hurrying after Ina, though quite off balance.
"I get 'oouu!" he called out, smiling.
"Aw, that's too bad," Remi watched the two toddlers play. "They seem to be enjoying themselves. You'll just have to bring her over sometime to our flat. Or I could bring Gavin to your place. He gets so bored being stuck up in the flat with no one but me to play with."

"Nuuuh uhhh!" Ina laughed running around the grown-ups. Or at least, what was running for someone of her age. Toddling fast was the better way to describe it and she had to stick out her arms like an air plane to keep her balance.
Ari nodded and beamed, "Of course! You both are always welcome...I suppose I'll just have to write up some directions so you can come any time. And if you even need to get away or anything I could watch him...I'm usually home." It was true, actually. Ari seemed to get out more because of her charges then anything else.

He followed her example and used his arms to balance himself as well. His wings also helped, though the wind resistance wasn't doing much to help his speed. She was just too fast for him. This called for something clever. Being that they were in the garden, and completely surrounded by foliage, he jumped into a nearby bush and made his way quietly through all the plants. Now he just needed the perfect chance to strike. He would get a tag in if it was the last thing he did!
"Directions would be wonderful, as I get hopelessly lost wherever I go," Remi replied. "And I can watch Ina if you ever need a break as well. I work from here, so I'm always around."

Ina was so busy "running" that she didn't notice when Gavin up and disappeared. When she got around the adults she looked around quickly. Hu? Wait! Where did he go? Her ears twitched in confusion as her lower lip pouted slightly. Wasn't he supposed to be chasing? With a thoughtful twitch of her tail she began to hurry off again. Well, at least he hadn't tagged her! She skirted around a bush.
Ari nodded, "That sounds lovely!" She glanced down the path thoughtfully, "Hey...would you like to come and have lunch with us? I brought a basket and blanket and parked myself out on the grass near the gate. I've got plenty to spare."

Hah! He was right where she wanted him. Wait, that's not right...
She was right where he wanted her! He stalked her stealthily from the bush she had conveniently skirted by. He figured now was just a good a time as ever. Positioning himself against a branch for something to push off of, he launched himself out of the bush and onto Ina.
"Tag!" he yelled, flapping his softies for extra lift. A few feathers flew out, but he didn't mind.
"Of course!" Remi brightened up at the thought of lunch. Free lunch, double bonus. "Lunch sounds wonderful. Shall we go now?"

Ina squeeked in surprise as Gavin jumped out at her. She barely managed to sidestep getting run over. But she was tagged. She blinked against the air being moved around by his softies looking from where he had tagged her back to his face. Ohh~! Looked like she was it!
She almost felt like pouting cutely again-she didn't like being it. It was always much more fun to run away then to chase. Ah well...Mommy had told her to take turns or something...she supposed she could chase him. "Okay~! Better rwun!" She warned him with a grin and a swish of her tail.
Ari nodded, "Sure! It's not far. Ina~Come with Mommy this way please. Then you can keep playing."

Haha! Success! He was no longer this supposed 'it' any longer. Now Ina was 'it'. Was she going to chase after him now?
He started to run until Ina's Mommee called for her. Aww, they had to postpone their game until they were going wherever they were going.
"Come on Gavin," his own Mommee called, "We're not going a long way, you can continue tag when we get there."
He pouted slightly, but the prospect of continuing the game kept him walking.

Ina's ears flattened in disappointment as Mommy said they had to go somewhere first. Aww, but she wanted to play~! Waiting was no fun! No fun! She clasped her purple hands on her skirt and sulked along cutely behind Ari as the grown-up led them back to the front of the compound. There, in the middle of the grass near the gate was a blanket, basket, and a couple of out-door play things.
Now that they were there Ina broke away from her Mommy and raced into the grass, wagging her tail. She stopped in the middle of it, laughing, and looked back at Gavin. Oh look! She got to chase him now! With a wag of her tail she ran back toward him. Hmm..what was the point of running to the grass again? "I get yooou!"

Gavin followed Mommee toward the gate and all the grass. Ooooh, lots of grass meant lots of running area. Great for tag. What was the basket and blanket for?
He looked over his shoulder to see Ina running toward him. Oh no! She was going to tag him and make him 'it' again!
"Nu uh!" he said, and started running--well, toddling fast--across the open field.
"So, what's in the basket?" Remi asked, her stomach growling slightly. All she'd had to eat today was a meager bowl of cereal. She was starving.

Ina hurried past the grown ups after him, laughing, "Yuh hu!" Her tail wagged about behind her as she reached out with violet fingers to try and reach him. He was way too far away at this point, but hey, she'd catch up! It was alot harder to run that way, though, so her toddling became a little more clumsy and off balance.
"I've got sandwitches...Turky and Peanutbutter...some potato chips...grapes, watermelon...juice boxes..." Ari bent down and began to shuffle through the contents of the basket. She pulled out some of the things as she said them, placing them upon the blanket beside her.

He toddled as fast as he could through the grass, trying not to be tagged. But since the world seemed to be against him today, a small hole covered in grass decided to appear underneath his foot. To say the least, he tripped. To say what happened realistically, he tripped and then somersaulted a few times before landing dazzed on his bottom.
"Wow, you really know how to make a picnic," Remi's eyes widened at the sight of all the food. "I'm a horrible cook, even when it comes to sandwhiches."

Ina went as fast as she could until she saw him fall. She stopped to gawk as he rolled until he finally stopped moving by landing on his bum. Hey...that looked like fun...hm...Tag completely forgotten she bent over, bum in the air and did a clumsy tumble in the grass. She laughed with surprised glee as the world spun around and around as she rolled. Finally she stopped flat on her back a few feet away from Gavin, smiling, but looking a little breathless.
Ari laughed, waving it off, "Nonesense! I'm not much of a chook. Fruit is ready to go mostly after you buy it...and well...with a couple of young charges sandwitches become rather easy." She settled herself on the blanket, smiling, "Help yourself, by the way."

Apparently Ina thought this whole tumbling thing was fun. He thought it hurt, himself. He blinked, stunned at the air having been knocked from his chest. He was breathless too, but he tried to smile back. He didn't hurt anywhere, he was just stunned.
"Thanks," Remi said, taking one of the peanut butter and turkey sandwiches. She'd never had that combination before, but...mmm, it tasted really good. "Wow. This is delicious. What made you think to put turkey and peanut butter together?"

"Ima dizzy!" Ina told Gavin breathlessly as she tried to peer over at him. The word was still spinning a little...it felt so funny! All fuzzy and silly~! She giggled a little, but was too tired to do much of it. Tumbling was fun, but it took so much energy! So she went to look at the clouds instead, "Funny fluffy clouds..."
Ari stared at her, looking confused. She didn't remember making peanutbutter and turky sandwitches together..."I...just made Turkey...and then made a few sandwitches with peanutbutter becomse sometimes Ina's funny about her food...I didn't put turkey with peanutbutter...ah..." She glanced over at the two toddlers suddenly, "Ina! Did you try to help mommy with cooking again?"
