"The pool is where..." Erae turned, spotting Acia and Sidney disappear into a doorway. "... they went." He pointed at the disappearing glider's tail, as well as the snake tail. "You want to go for a swim, Ana?"

Kanth walked out of the kitchen with a huge table, not having trouble with it at all. She set it down in the middle of the room, hardly making a sound - the thing must have been lightweight - and setting a large turkey on it, as well as a few chips and dip, as well as other snack foods to complete the 'fullness' of the table.

"Feel free to eat. I'm not hungry at this moment, and there's plenty of food to go around; this isn't the only turkey." She winked at Huni, waving. "Buffet's right here. Anything you don't see, just ask. Erae?" She smiled at her skunk.

Erae nodded, and turned to Anastasia, giving a polite 'excuse me' before running to fetch Acia and Sidney, as their owners were already in the main dining room. Glancing out the window, he nearly whistled. It had grown dark so soon - and this was only the first night! They had six more days to go after tonight - which was spiff.

Arriving in the pool room, Erae waved to Sidney, and Acia, smiling and bowing politely.

"Kanth has food, if you two would like to join to eat. You're... fam.. famish... hungry, yes?"

((So if I understand this, then it's to be a seven-day event? Okay... He can't stay for the whole time, but Anastasia can (and will)... I'll edit this if I'm mistaken.))

He looks at LP as if she really, truly, has up and utterly lost her mind, and says, "Yeeeah, see, I'll believe that when I see it."
Glancing outside, he realizes that night is fast approaching, and so he calls to Anastasia, "Anastasia, honey, I need to go back- if you want to stay with your friends here, you're welcome to do so. You know we talked about this earlier... what have you decided?"

Anastasia scuffles the toe of her boot back and forth, as she considers her options. Her colors shift from dark to light then back to neutral, and finally she says, "I... Wanna stay. You'll come back, tomorrow?"

He nods, and says, "Of course, hon. I'll always come back for you, for as long as you need me."

With a nod to Kanth, he asks, "This will be all right, won't it? If it's any imposition, we'll go together, now."
But when she signals her assent, he turns and heads out the door.

Anastasia watches her companion leave, then turns about, and tells Erae, "Well... Sorta swim. You'll see- let's go!" And with that, she hustles off to the pool. Standing at the edge, she watches Sidney swim for a moment... But she knows that she can do better than that. She's been practicing, after all!

Concentrating carefully, Anastasia steps out onto the surface of the water, which ripples slightly, but otherwise acts as firm as any other solid surface. She moves a few paces out from the edge of the pool, and does a small piruette, standing on the surface of the water.

(Yes, that's perfectly fine. ^_^ I have a small curious question, though - to those velvets that grew while this was in roleplay, what are we to do about that? Should they just... change? ^^;;; I ask because I'm not sure if Erae's supposed to see Sidney or Acia grown up or not. Hnnn.)

"See you later, Arfaen. Anastasia won't be any trouble at all, I assure you." Nodding to the others, Kanth smirked as she sat down. "It looks like the velvets are having fun on their own." Popping a piece of turkey into her mouth, she chewed it thoughtfully, going silent. It was nice to listen to the conversations around the table.

((Aye, I was wondering the same thing... Week long'll be fun n_n Umm...I gues we'll just continue with them as animals, like D said. Last RP before they grow n_n))

Acia turned her eyes from the water with Erae's arrival, cheerfully waving a greeting to the skunk boy. Food, hmm? She was a bit hungry...but not incrediably so. She could stop and get a snack once they were done exploring this room. Though there didn't seem to be much to explore... Just the big expanse of water. She turned her eyes back to the pool, jumping visably in surprise when she came face to face with Sidney. She hadn't even realized he'd gotten in the pool. He seemed to be swimming easily enough, but... Acia wasn't sure if she could. She wasn't really built for it.

She followed Sid's gaze over to Ana, mouth dropping open. How did she do that!??! Maybe...this wasn't water at all?? It certainly looked like it, but Sid was floating easily enough, and Ana didn't sink at all! Curiosity aroused, she leaned out towards the clear liquid, reaching a paw towards it. Just as she touched it, she overbalanced and toppled into the water, dissappearing beneath the surface with a small splash. Mmhmm, definitely water.

(Mmmmkay. Sounds good. XD)

One moment he was watching Anastasia, and admiring her twirl on the water, wondering how she did it, and the next he heard a splash.

Jumping slightly at how fast things happened, Erae dove to the edge of the pool, letting out a small cry. "Acia!" Glancing around quickly, he spotted a rope and grabbed it quickly, throwing it in the water for Acia to hold. It was attached to the wall, and he grew even more frantic when the rope actually floated.

Erae had never swam before, and figured now was a good time as any. But what if he couldn't swim? Kanth had never taught him how to swim in a pool before - though she had warned him to stay away from it unless he was with others.

But now... he felt helpless. He couldn't just do nothing!

Tying the rope loosely around his wrist, he jumped in holding onto it tight, and holding his breath as he sunk to the bottom.

((Let's see, then... Does that mean that when the party ends on the 17th that they'll all grow then?
...and I have to go fix a journal entry, now. Foolish me. Should've checked the party dates before I wrote!

And... Holy lemmings, Batman!
Okay, Acia can swim then, but I take it Erae is in a fix...?
Eh. They both look scary to Anastasia. Even though Erae has the rope.))

Anastasia stared as one after another, hew new friends flung themselves towards the bottom of the pool. What was going on here!? Sidney was swimming- he was swimming like a fish, moving his body from side to side, but he was swimming... The others- maybe Acia was swimming, but Anastasia had seem people-shaped people swimming, and Erae wasn't doing that!

...and he didn't look like he was coming up anytime too soon, either.
Anastasia slowly turned dark as she realized that not everyone could do what she was doing, and she knew that she had to help. Carefully, she concentrated on the water around Acia and Erae, and pushed at it, making it rise up with her friends, tugging them towards the surface.

((Well, one of he advantages of you coming and going would be that if Khun Ying did grow, you could conveniently have that happen outside the thread. Then you could say something like, hey, he grew just in time to catch (half of) (the tail end of) (whatever) the party! And all the others could coo and fawn over him or in Anastasia's case, apparently encourage him to drown, if her track record with the others holds up.))
