A sweat drop formed on his head as he heard word utter from her mouth. Looking away he began to slowly edge away. Anyone who believed in something fictous as a "social foodchain" was clearly crazy. Since when were other people allowed to judge their peers. What gave them so much power. Now a good distance away he propped his head up to on arm as he looked out the window. Scratching his head and yawning he noticed hair coming over his shoulder. Looking back he noticed that the string tying his hair together had come lose. Sighing he quickly gathered his hair and tied it into a ponytail again. He was more of a functional person than cosmetics. Sighing again he began to unconciously trace a finger over his left eye tatoo.

Yawning loudly he cheked his watch as he glanced about to see if there was anyway he could help someone. Seeing somekids carelessly knock over he quickly walked over and began to reprimend them. Sighing he picked the broom and pan and began to clean up the shards of broken glass and scattered candy after putting up a warning sign of course.

Sweeping the candy and glass into the pan he quickly walked over to a nearby trash can and up turned the dust pand and dropping it's contents into the depths of what lay below. Sighing he quickly walked to the back room and picked out a mop and a bucket and quickly went to work mopping the floor to clean up any last shards of glass and possibly candy.

Rinsing out the mop one last time he was finally done. Pulling out the "Caution Wet" sign he quickly returned the mop to where it belonged and proceeded to empty the bucket of now dirty water into the sink. Watching it drain away he washed his hands and reentered the shop. Glancing over to see all that was well he noticed that the little pink haired girl was still there. Shrugging he walked back over to the counter sitting down lightly as he leaned over.

"Is there anything you need help with little girl?", he asked as watched her just sit there on the floor. Sitting back down he noticed some dirt on the tip of his tail. Grabbing it he realized that in the process of cleaning the floor dirt and such had stuck to his tail. Sighing he began the slow process of picking out everything, it's not like anyone wanted a dirty tail.

A little taken back at what just happened, it took him a momment to organize his thoughts as he realized the little girl was giggling. Realizing what had happeneed he smiled and leaned over the counter.

"Thank you little girl, nya", he said sweetly as he sat back down on the chair.

Sitting down he leaned on the counter as he rested his head watching more people enter the store.

Seiya looked about the shop in agitation, "Can't anyone keep this shop clean?"

She dissappeared for a few momments, returning with a bucket containing a mop, broom, and dustpan. While it wasn't in her nature to do manual labor she simply couldn't stand accumulating filth.

Carefully, she began sweeping up the tiny bits (and even whole) pieces of candy that had scattered over the floor and underneath the shelves. She She swept behind the counter, too. Finding tons of wrappers there, probably from other shifts. Lazy bums.

Seeing the geasy chocolate stains all over the counter and shelves she returned from the back room again and began to wipe down the counters and shelves covered with the tiny fingerprints. Although it had been cleaned only a few hours ago , the place was a mess.

Emptying the dust pan a few times into a larger trash can she began to mop up the aisles; working backwards so that she waouldn't slip and fall. Not only would it damage her pretty face it would send the unimaginable heavy glass candy jars tumbling from the shelves, all over the floor and maybe worse, if they weren't sturdy.

Thinking a momment she remembered to place the 'Wet Floor' sign in the aisles she mopped, although it didn't seem too likely anyone would come before they dried, it was pretty quiet as the shop wound down for the afternoon. Only the little girl, Seiya's co-worker and a few other children standing by the counter munching gummi-worms remained.

After finishing she sighed wiping her forehead and putting the cleaning materials away. Exhausted she plopped down into a chair.

"Oh, that's so cute." Seiya said in an uncharcteristic way, she cleared her throat. "I mean...that's right. Children should learn to take responsibility at an early age."

She nodded, "That way, when you're older, you can afford to pay someone so you don't have to...or something like that." She pondered over what she'd said, "Scratch that. Forget it. More of my capitalist father speaking through me. Heh." She sweatdropped; she really had to get it together.

She sat on a chair near the counter and loitered, not having much to do since it was nearing early evening.

"Oh? I wouldn't mind you working here now, of course due to eh-certain laws-we'll call it volunteering and you'll get 'paid in candy' and of course you'll get lunch. Pizza and Coke, okay?" She grinned down sweetly. "Although, I'm a bit worried about your teeth..."

She leaned back and stretched, she was too young and beautiful to be all stressed and tense. "I need a vacation."

Maybe to an island somewhere, nice and deserted, she could certainly afford it. She'd get a nice tan too, she began to daydream.
