thaxul Vahrley Bon for you, puits fait! (No criticizing the French! xd ) France is Fabu! One of my favorite places in world is the heart musee du Louvre heart ! I too was hoping to see a showdown, but it looks like it's not over yet, they're both still selling picket sings. I gave away a lot of my baskets too, I'm hanging on to a few to see if they go up in price someday and I can afford things like a Devil Tail, Angelic Halo, Black BowTie, Chicky/Bunny Slippers, et cetera, et cetera (not holding my breath though. neutral ). I like both the chickie/chicky and bani/bunny (I wish they'd pick a single spelling for these whee ) wardrobe items, though I do see you point about le chickie beak....and ya...what was that carrot on steroids about? eek

Vahrley thaxul Vahrley So ya...anywho (<---this is -not- a typo) I'm sooo jealous, you lucky dog! You were at the Halloween Bash! I'd give my left to have a zombie avie! *Le sigh* crying I've collected all the items from that event and Halloween 2k4, even all the grab bags. But back on topic, I think I've decided that my fave egg colors were the red, indigo (dark blue) and green. Those are my fave colors IRL too. Dark shades of them. cool
That reminds me, I also got a pic of Gambino (GAIA 1st Annual Memorial Photo) from someone who was leaving Gaia. It's the only donation anyone has ever made to me. I have it in my home. Was that from the Halloween event or one of the annual balls?
The photo is from the 1st Gaia Anniversary, given out by Gambino. I have gotten quite a few donations for my last quest, from a few friends, and just one random person who posted in my thread. heart

I don't really hoard, if i have spares, I sell them for quick gold. I don't really like hoarders, as they cause price increases, which isn't very good for the gaian economy.

I am un-liked!! crying ... So I'll live. xp Pfff! I seriously doubt that anything I'm hoarding will have an impact on the Gaian economy...a few duplicates. It's all stuff that's readily available to everyone. Some store items and rares/uncommons that I got reeeeally cheap...and I when I say cheap, I -mean- cheap, so when I sell I'll make a nice profit...even if the price goes down. I also have some extra event items that I got free (like the baskets) but as you said, those probably won't go up in price much since Gaia was flooded with them...and I keep giving them away anyhow (I should really stop doing that.) eek Aaand some Thank You Letters that I keep until I gather enough of them to sell or trade for some expensive item I want (which is frequently). I have a mule account that I basically use as a bank vault. If I sell for quick gold I'll never save. I know myself, I'll spend it all! If/when I'm close to getting an impossible item, I'll sell and apply the gold to my goal. I'm not hoarding in the hopes of competing with Gambino's riches or becoming the next Donald Trump of Gaia, It's just a way to trick myself into saving up for expensive items. Buying low and selling for a profit is, after all, the basis of any economy. And let's be realistic here, price increases are going to continue unless Gaia puts a cap on prices or re-releases high priced items, neither of which I see anyone doing any time soon, unfortunately...hmmm...this is a really good topic for one of my MiniChats. Gambino Gone?
 -----Gambino's tower, a structure constructed as a testament to its builder's ambition. Atop it, he laughs, mad, they say, with power. It is this maniacal, evilly cackling Gambino that, when observed by his young son, Gino, brings back the boy's lost memories. "Father?" he calls out, and Gambino, turns to the boy to finally be reunited with him. But the reunion is cut short by a shot that knocks Gambino off his tower to presumably plunge to his death...and the tower itself begins to topple towards...-----...Durem. Where, in their luxurious mansion, the Von Helson sisters gloat over how easy it is to manipulate the Gaian population. "Ho Ho Ho Ho... Oh sister, our recent Easter event surely has taken the public eye away from that Gambino!" Says Corinne to the red-clad Marie. "All it takes is little, cheap, plastic toys to gain favor with these Gaians," the other responds. And moments later, Gambino's tower strikes the Von Helson mansion, destroying it, according to Cindy Donovinh of GAIA 9 Action News. So...What do -you- think? Is this an April Fool's Day prank? Is Gambino really dead? The sisters were in their mansion, so who shot him? Why did the tower fall? Did Gino survive? He was, after all, on the roof with his father when the tower fell. -----I seriously doubt that this is an April Fool's Day prank, but several people have suggested it...though I suppose they could claim it was a dream or something. Gambino dead. Wow! Sorry to see him go and the Von Helsons too. I thought the interaction between them had a lot of potential. They all made good villains, and yes, I see Gambino as a villain, a charming villain, but a villain nonetheless. And a better villain than the twins. They are too obvious and stereotypical. He had -some- depth at least.
-----My current theory is that he was shot by either one of the labtechs that he was using as a guinea pig, or by a disgruntled shop owner. Of course, there's always the possibility that the twins arranged for his demise and it backfired on them. I think the tower was sabotaged, probably by the same person or an accomplice. I wouldn't be surprised if both Gino and the sisters managed to survive. Gino may be thought dead at first, but he'll probably show up in some future story line...who knows, Gambino might too.
-----I don't think the Great Wall of Gambino is part of the fallen tower, others have argued that with me, but I think it looks like a stone wall that's been around for a while and if you look at the images of the map in the graphic above, the angle doesn't match with the direction of the tower's collapse. I wonder what the story behind that is...I wonder if we'll get any replacements for Gambino and the twins...if the twins are even dead, that is. I guess we'll all find out when the smoke clears...literally. cool

Is Gambino really dead? Yeah, he should be, getting shot, even if he survived that, a fall should kill him half-way down

Hey, M3! cool Hmmm...I hadn't thought of that (O'course I'm in desperate need of sleep right now xp ), good theory, Mike. Maybe a new NPC who will be replacing them shot Gambino. That's certainly an easier way to make sure you end up being the top dog. Get rid of the competition. whee

I can't say that I didn't like Gambino and the twins, I mean they were all rotten to the core, but I think they added some fun to the site. I did like Gambino more than the twins though. And yes, I too think that the scheming sluts probably made it! stare Gino would definitely make an interesting villain, but don't you think he might make a better hero?
