hmm....Im not quite sure when exactly I got interested in GL but I bought my first GL book/magazine in the summer of 04 and Ive been buying them when I go to Little Tokyo in L.A. ever since. Ive made a couple GL outfits, luckily for me I fit in the pattern sizes in those magazines...so as long as I stay this size Ill be fine ^_^

Well I think it was last year where I began to see anime pictures of Lolita and immediately fell in love with the style. And then I saw real people and I swear I was in heaven. I just fell in love with the whole style because I think it's just so beautiful and unique!

hmm my friend Caris (twiggys_broken_dolly) was the first person to tell me its name. though i had seen the style of clothes before (being really into my manga and anime n.n )
she showed me these Japanese postcards that she had with people dressed in various styles of Street Fashion.
lolita was amongst them, as was the Fruits style of dress which i also ******** love 3nodding

I have been into lolita for... at least three years right now. It all started with me finding a pattern book with lolita-ish clothing in it, and deciding to look for more. ^^
I eventually found things like Harajuku Japan, and Visual Kei, and other styles of lolita.
All in all, it just spread.

Hmm... Chain of events.. There was this song on my computer.. I don't even remember what it was or where it came from, but it was by Gackt, and I was listening to it while doing my homework one night. Then I realized, "isn't this Gackt? o.O" And then I finished my work. But I couldn't stop thinking about it. I knew he was once in Malice Mizer, and I had heard of them before, but hadn't actually listened to any of the music. So when I was done, I did a little research... Within days, I was obsessed. ^^;; I love Moi Dix Mois. And I always found Mana's clothing so alluring. When I found out about his work as a designer, I squealed. X3 Then it kind of went from there...

I heard that japanese had the weirdest fashions, so I google search 'japanese fashion' and stumbled upon gothic lolita. Though I have recently gotten a lot more into lolita.

Started reading the bibles back in 2001 ish. Started dressing goth, ega and loli around that time, but only in very small doses. Then wore it more for every event/formal from about 2003. Since mid 2005 I have been wearing lolita everyday 3nodding

Wingsy Well how did you? A loong train from, sailor moon, anime, kisakae dolls, dollz, jrock, malice mizer, lolita! How long have you been into Gothic Lolita? a few years now, Who or what got you started into it? Malice Mizer, Mana's clothes are pretty! whee Wow, exactly like me! I started liking anime watching Sailor Moon... I was around 10 at that time. Then, I started searching for other anime, and then I discovered Otakuworld and got into kiss dolls.. then came the pixel dollz. Music-wise, I started liking anime OSTs, and then went off to search other songs by the same artists from the soundtracks I liked... and then a friend of mine introduced me to Jrock. whee Mana was my first approach to Lolita, just like many people here 3nodding

I knew about the style for years and I've had a very small interest in it.
Then I got into HighSchool
And there's this one girl that dresses Gothic Lolita like everyday.
I fell in love with her and got the biggest crush on her. ee; -still do-
But she has a girlfriend....... -Getting distracted!-
The point is, ever since I saw what Gothic Lolita looks like in Person I liked it so much, it's so pretty. 3nodding I like it better in real life than in photos xD;;

I was.. um 13?... So that's 3 years.
I was playing video games in my brother's room. When they came in with a friend. The friend says "your RIGHT, it was a guy!" (talking about Mana-sama)
So they were watching the Beast of Blood music video, and out of the corner of my eye I saw Mana, and Klaha, and all of them. Ever since I've been CRAZY about Mana. And of course that got me into EGL. heart
(of course our whole family had been anime fans for at least 3 years before that.)

I owe it all to my friend heart . She invited me to an anime convention and when we went she let me borrow her gorgous lolita shirt. I didn't know what it was then but i got the idea after wearing it the whole night. I was happy i found a style that suited me!
