[ D u c k y ] Alexis Bledel, I can't see her playing Bella. It just isn't something...right. There's nothing wrong with her, but she just isn't Bella. I know many people agree with me on this because I read the posts but yeah. >>'; Emily Browning + Bella = <3 I love the idea of her playing Bella. It just really fits in. She totally strikes me as a Bella. And she's not well known, which is what most people want for this film, unknown actors/actresses. Emily is also a very good actress, and she has a classic, simple beauty. Like Bella does.  That's Bella, or at least I'm crossing my fingers that she is. ;o I agree 120%

I'm not sure why, but i cannot picture Emily Browning as Bella. xd
And as for Danielle Panabaker, i don't think she is shy enough. She is really outgoing in most of her movies.
I would prefer an unknown person, like some have already mentioned.
of course, this is just what i think, which has no importance of the actual casting! blaugh

I think Emily Brown looks too young to play Bella... Although, now that I think about it, by the time the movie actually gets started, she'd probably be perfect. In those photoshoots, she looks nothing like my mental image that I get from reading, but then when I see other pics, I think 'maybe'.  (This pic made me think maybe) I have not seen her act, so this is just from pictures.

I think Emily Brown would work very well. I agree that, by time the movie gets to shooting, she will probably work. I would be very pleased if she got the part. At least that would leave me one less thing to worry about when it comes to the movie.

But since it may be an MTV movie, I think that MTV'll pick a well-known actress, y'know? Maybe Hatahway or Bledel.

She's just, annoying is so many ways to me, and she wouldn't be a good Bella.
Emily Browning would be a good pick for me, at least.

I think she's a great choice.... in some pictures. Other times she looks too Asian, which isn't a bad thing, but it's not Bella. Plus, Emily is gorgeous and I never really pictured Bella to be as stunning as her. I always pictured a more simple beauty. *shrugs* Don't get me wrong, I think she's still a fine Bella option. biggrin

I hate Alexis Bledel. I really dont like the way she talks...something about it makes me get pissed off lol.
Except the brown hair and pale face, she doesnt do it for me. She's just not Bella.

Emily Browning. At first I was all for it. Thought she was perfect. Then I didn't like her much as Bella, though I loved her [My sister says she's going to be the next Angelina Jolie with those lips].
Now I think she would be a good Bella. She's still not exactly how I picture Bella, but she's definatly the closest.
...If she gets her hair back... stare

But then I remembered Brokeback Mountain... and that movie srsly scared me for life. Like no joke. I just turned it off. (I watched it on a plane to france ^-^) It's like... she just randomly flashes her boobs.. and I was HO MY GOD!! AAAAHHHH!!! And I almost screamed out loud, but I did fall out of my chair causing all the french people to stare at me...Yeah, sory [/ramble] But I could see Alexis bledel doing it. But NOT Emily Browning... I just don't like her. I think she looks asian ALWAYS. Like in every single pic. But I agree on the unknown actress part. That would be good.. Because she would maybe look unsure of herself, and that's what I saw bella as. And in response to first post: Bella wasn't ugly, or average. She was beautiful, just not beautiful by big-school standards.

Danielle Panabaker is too... um... Disney. Does that make sense? I don't think that she could pull off Bella. I think that my first choice, which seems to be like a lot of people, is Emily Browning.
