((Man, if T-chan happened to show up and RP for a good while then that would be awesome! All of the characters are here! Oh well, I am not leaving my comp for a while so I will be waiting on posts))

*As the man starts visibly shaking it becomes obvious her approach isn't working.*
"Hmm. I'll tell you what. I'll make you a cup of hot tea, and leave it on the counter over here. Then I'll go back into the other room, okay? You can come join us when you feel comfortable with the idea."
*She quickly moves over to the stove, turns on one of the burners, and picks up the kettle, fills it with water from the sink and sets it on the burner. She finds a mug in the cabinet, and the tea bags. Opening one she drops it into the mug and sets that on the counter. The kettle starts to whistle and she fills the cup with the steaming water, then decides to make one for herself. After returning the kettle to the stove she picks up her mug and leaves the kitchen to see what progress Aykon and Nisso had made.*

*Aykon has taken a spot on the chair near the main area, his smoke is almost completely gone so he puffs on it once more and then extinguishes it, waiting for Nisso to think about the options*
*he smiles to Nikki with the cup of tea*
I guess our sudden guest needs some time to realize that we are nice people, don't worry, almost all new visitors here are like that the first time, but after they have been here I think the kindness disease affects them as well. I just hope he doesn't stay there long, that food in his pockets will go very nasty in a short while... Thanks for the help though, just be mindful, the thief has a gun and some sort of knife. Hopefully he won't get any bright ideas.

The aroma of the tea waffes to Red's nose, and her stomach grumbles visible again. Was nothing working for her tonight, as the tea boils on the stove and the woman called Nikki leaves she catiously leaves her spot in the corner and sniffs her way over to the stove before sniffing around the mug left for her. It certainly didn't smell poisoned, so picking it up lightly she took a small sip, the warm liquid immediately calming her nerves. Throwing caution to the wind she downed the whole cup. She'd likely pay for it later, but she needed to leave soon.
Edging toward the door she looked out past the kitchen and saw the three people in the other room. Spying the front door, she hugged her pack to her tightly and made a mad dash to the front door in her final effort of escape.
((Sorry guys I have to leave for a few hours. Hopefully you'll still be here when I get back.))

*She lifts the mug in Aykon's direction.*
"Would you like one? Yeah, he's shaking pretty badly in there. I think we've scared him."
*She chuckles softly and leans against the bar, sipping her tea.*
"There's something odd about that thief. I'm not sure what it is though. And as far as the gun and knife, if he should get ideas, if you remember I can heal injuries pretty well, and with the way he's shaking I don't think we have to worry much."
*As if in response to her words the thief dashes past them toward the door.*

((That's fine! I am glad you got to RP for a little bit. Besides, this is supposed to be a place for posting whenever you can, it just happens to be uniquely working that we were all here at the same time. See ya leters Leah-san!))
*Aykon sees the man dash blindly for the doors, he smiles and the doors open in a flash offering straight path to escape, no blocks or anything in the way*
Good day thief, good luck cooking that food. And if you want to be more relaxed next time then come back through this same door, drop your weapons in that safe and share some tea. We also have great beds for travelers if the road is too weary! Good day!
*He shakes his head and then smiles to Nikki with a shrug*
Let him take it, he obviously needs the food more than we do.
*he looks at the tea offered and smiles politely*
No thanks, I am more worried about miss Nisso...I appreciate the offer though. And thanks again for helping with that thief. Knowing the way he was recieved and released, he will likely be back after he has eaten and isn't quite so wily. It would be nice to offer a bed to a traveller again.

*She nods to Aykon and returns his smile. Looking over her shoulder into the kitchen she sees that the cup of tea is now empty. She slips off her glasses and lightly rubs on hand over her face.*
"I think, perhaps, we'll be seeing more of him."
*She chuckles and her smile grows more as she and Aykon say nearly the same thing at nearly the same time.*
"I think, perhaps, we'll be seeing more of him. And there is no need to thank me. That is part of what I am here for."

Well, Nikki, we did nothing rude or impolite or dangerous to him...if he doesn't return then we can simply know that we tried. But I think he will come back...it might be a few months before he will speak to us, if he can speak, but that's a risk we will have to take.
*He returns his gaze to Nisso and hopes that his trick will work on her.*
((I am hoping T will post soon, if she doesn't we really can't move this thread forward. But if RP is on your mind we could always head over to the fountain until she posts. Otherwise, I might go play some video games for a bit))

She watched the two running around wiht no interest whatsoever. This man who, trustworthy or not, she'd just met wanted her to let him inside her mind. Perhaps one of the most personal things she could ever do!
She shook her head and started polishing the athame. "No. Absolutely not. Perhaps some things are best forgotten." She finished cleaning the knife and put the cloth away again.
"In fact, the very absence of memory hints that something happened to me during or shortly after whatever stint I served here." She looked Aykon in the eye. "I trust my instincts. I think they have the right of it."
Nisso turned back to the ritual knife, tracing the familiar patterns once each before speaking again. "But it probably wouldn't hurt to make new memories," she finally admitted.
((Honestly! I go to do a physics project and everyone gets online! gonk ))

That's fine, I can understand your reasoning. Well, would you at least like a room to stay in while you are here? I have plenty open.
*He was trying to be careful so as not to incite any more negative reactions but if all played out then his plan would work whether or not Nisso knew it*
Although, I do ask that if you are going to be here, your weapon won't necessarily be a problem, I know that it is dull, but don't go brandishing it.

The branches caught at Red's hair and clothes as she dashed through the woods, her heart pounding now stop. She couldn't believe she had been caught, she was always careful, always. She wouldn't dare take the path now. Knowing that they knew she was out here somewhere. Thus she stuck to the woods backtracking whenever she could just in case someone might be following her.
After finally reaching her new make shift home she bounded up the stairs and collapsed on the still dusty bed. Dust particulars shot into the air as she did, and sent her into a wave of coughing. When the fit finally subsided, she was far more exhausted and hungry then she had ever been.
Going back down stairs she looked around the old kitchen for anything she could use to eat out of. Nothing, not even a single cup. The stove didn't seem to work anymore either.
Great.
Taking out her knife, she cut open the top of one of the cans, and began eating straight out of it. This wasn't such a good idea as she sliced her lip on a jagged edge and almost spilled the contents inside.
Argggggggggggggggh!! Can I do nothing right?!.....
Her eyes began to fill up with tears but she shut them tight against the coming onslaught. She was suppose to be a man now, and men didn't cry. At least none of the ones she ever saw did. She needed to learn to be more self sufficient, but right now she didn't know how, and that scared her....
Looking out the window she watched the lights of the other tavern flicker in the distance. The smell of hot food and drink sinking back in. Maybe, if she went just this once, just maybe it would be okay. Goddess please she thought. Taking a deep breath she picked up to unopen cans and headed back towards the tavern.

*Nikki finishes off her tea, slips her glasses back on, and dissapears through the door of the kitchen to clean up. She throws both tea bags in the trash and sets the mugs in the sink, running water in them while she takes the kettle from the stove. Emptying the kettle, she sets it back on the stove and returns to the sink to wash the dishes. She listens to the conversation going on in the other room as she does so, and smiles to herself at Nisso's comment about making new memories.*
