Isto smiled faintly, waiting until she'd closed the door before turning and walking back the way they'd come. He wasn't remotely tired anymore... Maybe he'd go hunting on the fifth floor. That would be fun...

Soon, Mauli drifted into a deep sleep....
And that's when it happened.
A giant thought bubble raced around her head, and inside, pandemonium ensued.
It was....
It was....
Isto, in her bra.
Dancing to 'I'm Too Sexy'.
And otherwise buttnaked.
Mauli woke from the dream, sweating profusely and screaming. She bit down on her blanket, and it muffled the screams, giving her enough time to gather her thoughts and wipe her brow. Phew... Just a dream...
She swore she could have seen Shiro in the background of that scene, with his own set of underwears.
And that dream was exactly what she was afraid of seeing. eek

Unlike Mauli, Isto was enjoying the peace of a dreamless sleep.. Of course, it didn't last long. He was rudely awakened by a scream from downstairs.... Errg, not again. His eyes snapped open, and he rolled off the bed, landing on his feet and straightening up before heading for the door.
It had sounded like Mauli.... Maybe there was another spirit in her room? No one had really checked after Jack had killed the last one...so it was possible. Highly possible. Well, crap. Isto redoubled his pace, reaching Mauli's door in a matter of seconds. Pausing outside, he knocked. "Mauli? You alright??"

Gasping, Mauli threw the covers over her head, as Isto's voice brought back the horrid, ugly memories of her dream. After a few moments of shaking silence, she called out, peeking over the blankets.
"I-i'm fine... Ummm..." Then, she couldn't help it. She laughed. It was just too much! First, she had been attacked by a spirit, and narrowly escaped with her life. Then, she got weak and had horrible, disgusting dreams, and now the dream-boy was standing outside her door, wondering if she was okay. Wow. xD

...Isto did not, at all, understand women. One moment she's screaming, the next she's laughing. Heck, she'd probably run off and rob a bank next. He sighed, rolling his eyes. "If you're sure... Dinner should be ready by now. Want me to bring you something?"

"N-no, that's alr-right." Mauli stuttered out, biting back another gale of laughter. Then, throwing the blankets back, she shuffled to the dresser to get her hairbrush off the top. She wrenched it through her hair, wincing as a few strands were tugged out. "I'll be right down!" She called out, then pushed her hairbrush back into its place, and scrambled around the room looking for her socks.
GAH, WHERE WERE THOSE SOCKS?! domokun

Poor, poor confused Isto... Grimacing at the sound of more laughing, and wondering what could possibly be so funny (XD), Isto nodded (even though she couldn't see). "Alright...I'll see you downstairs, then." He stepped away from the door, sighed, and headed down to dinner...stil trying to figure out what could possibly be so funny.

Aha, socks! Bright pink socks. Mauli shrugged, then slipped them on, tugging the door open and trotting downstairs.
Heheh... pink socks... The same color pink as Isto's bra... Mauli clapped a hand over her mouth, effectively silencing another wave of laughter. Oh lord! She'd never make it through dinner this way! Searching her mind, she quickly pictured Jack's head on Isto's body in her mind, then nodded, pleased with this quick answer. Now she wouldn't burst into giggles whenever she looked at Isto. ;D Parading into the kitchen, Mauli took a seat at the table.

Due to the terribly large amount of...beings now living in the house, dinner was being served...wherever you wanted to sit. True, the table was set, the dishes were layed out, but it was more of a buffet than anything. Most of Moo's larger pets had retreated to the living room, but Moo was sitting at the table, as were the majority of the smaller creatures.
Thankfully, both Isto and Jack had chosen to eat in the living room.
Moo glanced up when Mauli entered, waving vaguely in greeting before returning to her conversation with Acia, even though she had absolutely no idea what the glider was saying. Within a few minutes, however, Acia had fallen silent, so Moo could pay attention to her guest. "How d'you like the house, Mauli? Did anyone ever show you around?"

Mauli scooped some mashed potatos onto her plate, then shook her head, grinning at both Moo and the small sugar glider at her side. "Naw, I just took a nap. But I can explore later, s'not a problem." Inside, she was elated that both Isto and Jack were out of sight, and because of that she continued grinning as she speared a few pieces of roast beef and put them on her plate.
Lenta was asleep by the stove, her plate half-empty beside her and her glass of milk tipped precariously to the side on her stomach. She snored softly, then murmured something that sounded like 'Jekyll', her hands twitching with each breath she exhailed.
Beside her slept Remy, who's back was endangered by the glass of milk. He almost seemed... paler than normal... Though if it was from sickness or the white flour that covered his body, you couldn't tell.

"We'll give you a tour later," Moo chirped, glancing to her glider. "Won't we?" After squeaking her agreement, Acia dove at Moo's plate and began devouring her meal. Grimacing, Moo lifted the glider from her plate and deposited Acia near her own, then reached for the mashed potatos to replace those the glider had stolen.
