JoVo [Q] JoVo: Doesn't the bible accepts gays, but not the a**l sex? That's what I heard from the grapevine... But then again all I read of the bible(and remembered, anyway) was the Cain and Abel story... The Bible says nothing about gays or a**l sex. It condemns homosexual rape, however, right along with heterosexual rape. There are homosexual relationships in the Bible, and the Bible authors condemned homosexual sexuality when it was used for (1) the worship of pagan gods and (2) the subjugation of a male enemy. That's pretty much it. Also, it says at the very begining of the bible(I got bored and read a little bit of it on sunday night when the power was out) that god created man in his own image. So wouldn't that mean he'd have to have homosexual feelings himself? He'd also have psychotic tendancies and stuff wouldn't you think?

It shows the nature of man as being part-spirit, which makes man unique among the species of the earth. It does not mean that man is exactly like God or vice-versa.

About the coming about thing:
(It's more a rant than anything)
I went to a dance with Beckily and one of my "confused" guy friends. A friend of a friend tried to steal Beckily, and I started hollering about how she was my date and he couldn't have her. ( whee ) He, in an attempt to fend me off, asked her if I'm "a lez" and she said that I had two dates, her and my guy friend, and his response, in a FURTHER stupid attempt to fend me of, asked loudly if I'm bi, and he was informed that that was the case. He stopped trying to drag Beckily away, looked me up and down, said, "Too bad she isn't hot," and walked away. At least she almost kicked him "there." Too bad she didn't hit him. ( heart )
Now, this is semi-related to my above rant...but why is it that if a girl is bi, she's assumed to be a slut? I have come across that a few times...and it confuses me. (I say a girl because I don't really know the response to a bi guy. Is it a different reaction?)
Sorry if any of that didn't make sense. I'm tired and annoyed, and about to die because it's too hot in my room. Thank you for reading my rant...or at least this line.
(Sorry that this had nothing to do with the religion topic that sprung up. But I was outed to, I will affectionately refer to him as "The a*****e," so it...sorta...fits here. The grammar in that sentence makes me want to stab it. Oh well.)

Well, I've only told a select few people, but I planning to let everyone else know (excluding my mom) at our homecoming dance in a few weeks. I guessing they'll get the picture, when I bring my girlfriend. Then again it's not the people at school that i'm worried about, I could care less about their opinion, It's my mom. She's never really said anything outwardly against it I just get the feeling that she wouldn't approve.

I wish I could have come out through something so everyday as homecoming (if I ever had one).
Pepto, when you first made the choice to bring your girlfriend, somewhere in the back of your mind you probably thought about your mom's reaction to it. Did it stop you, as you may have already done, from asking your girlfriend, or at least stop wanting to do it? I'm not trying to preach disobedience, but you really should go with who you want to. It boils down to an issue, not of whether your mom approves wholeheartedly or not, but what you feel is, justifiably, the right thing to do.
Good luck, and have fun at that dance. I'll cheer you on. 3nodding

Montigo Dominic well, My friends were the easy part, but my dad would never accept me, he almost put me through counseling when I got caught, then he ended up blaming it on himself and went back to denying it. Same Here... Bleh. Life... *Sighs*

But, in the past, I have met bisexual guys who felt that they were soooo hot, and soooo good in bed, that they couldn't "tie themselves down to one person". So yeah, some bi guys are sluts, some aren't.

Time for my not-quite-finished coming out story.
Since 2001, I've known that I was gay(since I was 13). I started telling online friends once I saw another person I knew come out online. I came out to online friends(one whom I knew was bi beforehand). He took it totally fine, and eventually we became best friends. Flash forward to February, 2004. I was on a message board, browsing, and it finally came to me saying "******** it", posting a thread about that I'm gonna be coming out to my mom in about 5 minutes and went downstairs. I had been debating about coming out to my parents for a long time, and very few friends knew. Dad still didn't know, either. Went downstairs, and said that we has to talk. After dodging around different subjects for a bit, I finally said that I REALLY had to tell her something, and finally said it. "Mom, I'm gay."
She was a bit surprised at first(but not in a bad way), and asked who had I told yet. I said that I planned on telling my dad ASAP. I figured that I'd rather tell them separately. She was totally fine with me being gay, and supported me 100%. I went upstairs and posted about it(cause, you know, I'm such an online whore blaugh ). I started telling school friends back in Deceber, but didnt really talk to them about it in person. Then once I had told my mom, I started talking to friends in person about it, and all my friends supported me. Now flash forward to April, 2004.
I went to my dad's room and said that I needed to talk to him. It ws around midnight, and he knew something was up. So he asked me what it was and I said it had to do with sex. He gave me 2 options: I had either gotten someone pregnant, or that I was gay. I told him that I was gay, and he was totally cool with it. And the conversation ended up lasting til around 3 AM. Flash forward to August.
I was talking to a friend online(after he FINALLY got the internet on his personal computer), and told told him that I was gonna call him, seeing as he had been in the Czech Republic for the past 2 months over summer vacation. Got around half an hour into the conversation when I told him that I had to tell him something kinda awkward. Told him that I was gay, he was fine with it, ans the clique that he hangs out with was totally fine, too(seeing as they were almost all at his house that night). Conversation lasted til 5 AM. smile
Now, over the summer, my best friend in one of the groups of my friends got to know him very well and they eventually got in a relationship. I agreed with her that before summer started, I had to tell him that I was gay, and that she had a crush on him. She knew that I had a crush on him as well. Hmmmmmm.... I never got the chance to tell him that I was gay. sad Look at the last paragraph for date... In the phone conversation I had with him the night back in August, I told him that I had a crush on him. And we both knew by then that he was straight. Eventually about a month later, we had long talk(him, her and I) and we got all of the emotions out about the situation and we're totally fine now, although I do get a bit jealous every now and then... sweatdrop
That's what's happened so far... Hope you enjoyed the reading.
