Hmm... I would say leather. But only if you can find the perfect jacket, obviously. Otherwise, if you have to make one, PVC would probably work just fine.

Well, I'm heading to my first Con in about...5 and a half hours (ACEN), but I won't be cosplaying because I lack materials, drive to make, etc.

Although I'll probably try to whip up maybe a Roronoa Zoro costume since I plan on going to Anime Iowa this fall.

surprised someone else did Merle!!!!!!!!!!! waahhh. I kid I kid. I luff merle. I cosplay her like anytime I can. She is so fun. I did the episode version when I was in 8th grade. I moved onto to the movie version now. woo. I still look like an 8th grader though =[ oh well, I can still play in the plastic balls at mcdonalds. so yeaaah..

yay! thanks! I've grown so fond of cosplaying her, it's hard for me to find someone else that I enjoy dressing up as, as much as her. I'm thinking of doing garnet/dagger while my bf would play zidane =]
or perhaps the tifa, cloud duo will do us? I'd do the movie version though because I'm no were the size of tifa..if you get my drift ^_~* lol

Soldier Girl there was a better one of this as me and Seth patrolled the streets of Penrith, just after i got my black angel wings...so funny, he had his EHO uniform on and we were stopping people in the street just by moving through the streets
